How much chocolate can you eat?

In one sitting.

100,200,360,850 gram bar?
What's the most you've enjoyed ?

If I was hungry enough yes I probably could, but only with chocolate for me, crisps do nothing for me and I don't really enjoy them.

SoftBlocks · 25/03/2019 07:41

2x 100g bar naice chocolate. I don’t eat Ferraro Rocher.

TapasForTwo · 25/03/2019 07:49

A few squares of a chocolate bar. TBH chocolate is something that I can take it or leave it. I can't get my head around the idea of being a chocoholic. Also, I don't consider Fererro Rocher or Shiteburys to be real chocolate as they are overly sweet and IMO don't contain enough cocoa solids to be called chocolate.

I'm not a chocolate snob, but if I am eating chocolate I prefer it to taste of, well, chocolate.

I had two Flakes last night, that was a bit too much really, but one didn't feel like quite enough. Ferrero Richer, I'd maybe have 3 or 4 I think. Haven't had them in years though.

Elephantina · 25/03/2019 07:54

Ferrero Rocher, not many. Creme eggs, I can do 6 - 8, although my intestines wouldn't thank me and that's how I stop.

I can do a 250g bar of dairy milk or a pack of 4 twirls no trouble.

I thought I was hardcore but some of you are way ahead of me! I met someone recently who admitted she could do 4 of those family share bags of maltesers back to back over 4 hours.

Come to think of it I could probably stomach that much, but I do have an off switch somewhere and it generally kicks in before carnage erupts.

I am also 4 stone overweight, so at the moment nowt but the odd Freddo passes my lips!

Namechange8471 · 25/03/2019 07:58

I ate 2 medium Easter eggs yesterday, 3 creme eggs and a family bag if chocolate buttons.

I could still eat more...

TapasForTwo · 25/03/2019 08:00

How can you eat all of that and not feel sick?

Namechange8471 · 25/03/2019 08:03

TapasForTwo Blush

zod1ac19 · 25/03/2019 08:06

I can easily do a 200g bar of chocolate but would probably stop at 6-8 Ferraro rocher as they are quite sickly after a few.

I always struggle to believe the people who say two squares of dark chocolate is all they can manage. Mind you by the sounds of this thread they also struggle to believe some of us can eat so much chocolate.

To be honest I’d prefer to have to stop at two squares.

Connieston · 25/03/2019 08:09

Not much. A square? Not even a whole bar. It's too sweet. Waxy sugar. Yuk.

FWIW can put away a bag of starburst and/or a bottle of wine without breaking a sweat so I'm not claiming to be better than anyone else!

TapasForTwo · 25/03/2019 08:13

My sweet preference is for other types of sweets - Liquorice Allsorts, Moams, drumsticks, skittles, jelly babies, Percy Pigs. So I can't take the moral high ground either Grin

I just can't get excited about chocolate.

prettyLittlefool · 25/03/2019 08:17

I think a mega 850gm bar is my limit in one sitting. 3-4 medium Easter eggs no sweat. In fact something about Easter egg chocolate makes it go down easier. Maybe the flat shape of it makes it feel less.

OP posts:
prettyLittlefool · 25/03/2019 08:18

Percy pigs are horrid.
It's all about surface area. That's why I love a flake.

Enjoyable = 1 x 200g of cadbury crunchie bits.
Sickly = 2 x 200g of the above
Capacity 1.5 bars of the above.
But I'd feel rough for the rest of the day.

Allabitmuchisntit · 25/03/2019 08:51

All of it.

PickAChew · 25/03/2019 09:05

Very little.

Last time I had a bar - just a 35g bar - I was up all night throwing up. I can eat the odd nice filled chocolate, but I avoid dark chocolate.

PaintingOwls · 25/03/2019 09:07

Depends on what type of chocolate. I can put an impressive amount away if it's not just pure chocolate, eg kit kat, Ferrero rocher, but I struggle with things like galaxy.

I did used to have an eating disorder so my capacity to put away a large amount of food in a small space of time shocks people.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 25/03/2019 09:09

I'm not sure I've ever found my limit, except for Lindor balls - I can't manage more than about 12 of those. Other chocolate: well, I've been known to tuck away 500g and only stop because there wasn't any left.

I'm on a strict diet now to lose 8 stone, and haven't touched chocolate in months.

WellTidy · 25/03/2019 09:14

I can eat loads and loads. Easily. I wouldn't if someone was in the same room as me, and I know they would be disgusted, but I could on my own. I have put on about a stone and a half over the last couple of years, and it is basically down to chocolate.

I can eat what people call good chocolate, crap chocolate, any chocolate. Nuts, honeycomb, caramel, fondant, anything. From Cadbury to Prestat. Not a problem.

I get it.

prettyLittlefool · 25/03/2019 09:24

Good chocolate, crap chocolate, any chocolate. Nuts, honeycomb, caramel, fondant, anything. From Cadbury to Prestat. Not a problem.

This is a great motto.

Mmmhmmokdear · 25/03/2019 09:29

I could totally eat that tray of Ferreros.

I have no off switch with chocolate. I have eaten embarrassing amounts in a day before. Like 1kg over the day.

Lungelady · 25/03/2019 09:31

I don't eat chocolate at all. Havent for about 10 years. I do like cheese though.

WeCameToDance · 25/03/2019 09:32

Thats interesting that everybody finds Lindor balls too much. I'm the same. Can eat copious amounts of pretty much any chocolate apart from Lindor balls. In fact they are the only chocolate that makes me feel sick after around 2. I wonder what it is about them.

WellTidy · 25/03/2019 09:32

Thanks pretty. I feel very proud of my chocolate habit now Smile

SinglePringle · 25/03/2019 09:33

I’ve got a 100gr bar of Lindt in the cupboard. It’ll last a month as I only have about 2 squares a week (think it’s 4 rows?).

I rarely crave chocolate and usually give away any given to me at Easter, Christmas etc.
