Little Owen Jones on Triggernometry

I know he's a big 'favourite' 🙄 on this board. He's being interviewed about his new book, which is about neoliberalism. I'm only 20 minutes in but my gosh. He's extremely nervous, twitchy, seems wired and has interrupted Konstantin about 10 times already. He doesn't seem able to let anyone else finish a sentence. It's all quite strange and mildly amusing

Nothing so far about gender ideology but I will be surprised if it doesn't come up at some point

Lapidus seems to also do James O'Brien but I'm not sure if he's the same guy who does him on Dead Ringers. They've been tentatively venturing into people R4 listeners would think are very much Good Eggs on the right side of history when they ripped The Rest Is Politics with that man Alistair Campbell again and the shrill way Rory Stewart speaks.

I've never heard anyone attempt Zack Polanski yet, which might be risking a backlash with his slight lisp

ADHD medication is stimulant based but it doesn't have the same effect on an ADHDer as a NT, that's the point! I took 10mg of DH's elvanse after a bad insomnia night and I was flying!!

Tbf, stimulants are used to treat adhd; people with adhd react differently to them, eg caffeine makes me sleepy.
I don't think it's working well for LOJ, though.

To be fair sometimes people stop at the services because a passenger is feeling car sick. You don't want them to feel sicker after seeing that on a shelf

Campbell is a dick at the best of times so I can barely imagine two people I’d rather see knock lumps out of each other than these two.

Especially when he is rather patiently explaining to a bratty unapologetic OJ that with a bit of foresight and planning normal people manage to avoid being late and the only response OJ can give is "Like Iraq"

His explanation is the amphetamines he's on for ADHD.

If your ADHD medication is making you act like you're on speed then they aren't the right meds for you!! That's kind of the opposite of the point of them...

Tony Lapidus is really excellent. If you haven't seen the Triggernometry episode where he appears in character as several of their well known guests, put a bit of time aside and treat yourself 😁
