Today I discovered that Hinge can delete your account if as a straight male you complain about males appearing in your dating queue…

I only discovered this after having made two reports, and it’s Sunday, so I suppose I’ll find out tomorrow if they are going to follow through.

I'm sure someone will be along in a minute and ask why it has to be a thing in a relationship at all but given the case I’m following through it sort of has to be out there!

That seems sensible to me? Everyone knows where they stand and avoids any awkward misunderstandings. People who are into trans women/men or genuinely don't mind can also find what they are looking for. Benefits everybody.

Interestingly you actually can, and some people do - but I am not given the option to say "Looking for cis women only" which I'd not like but would at least understand

as I said earlier I'd be quite happy for trans ID males to appear in the female listings if they a) had also said they were trans women and in my filtering, I was allowed to say bio females / cis women, whatever.
