So the ‘formal re-education’ begins

I don’t know if anyone has been following this with Jordan Peterson but he has been ordered to undergo a self funded Re-education program in Canada, having lost a recent court case.

I have a feeling he isn’t well liked on here but I actually really like him. I’ve listened to many hours of his lectures and I don’t believe he is a misogynist - I think that’s the accusation that makes him a MN hate figure.

I have just a day or so ago watched a video where a Trudeau interview is examined. Trudeau does not come out of it well, neither does the "journalist"

Its Martin decoder on YouTube, I cant find it now.
He also has a bunch more videos that look very interesting.

And yes Trudeau blocked access to money for the truckers. That's not going to win hearts and minds is it.

And because of that, I use cash as much as possible.

Isn't Trudeau the one that got banks to effectively starve the truckers? He REALLY doesn't like dissent does he, and that usually means people like him are trying to hide a very big secret 🤔

Disagreement is not automatically scolding.
Surely you're allowed to question things?

If you agree with the message, but not with the messenger, you could always say that it is being reported in other, more reputable and/or palatable sources such as….

Unfortunately, because of the way the FWR boards have been trolled in the past, your comment does come across as ‘scolding even if that isn’t the word I would have chosen and even if that wasn’t your intention.

Internet forums don’t carry tone well, especially on this subject.

This scolding for using the wrong news reporting to highlight a story, when 'approved' sources won't touch them, in case they get sent to reeducation camps for wrong think is the whole fucking crux of the issue.

Of course someone will woke scold anyone posting any links to the story. They will all be wrong thinkers in some way or other.

On the whole I like him, I don't agree with all he says, but he does talk a lot of sense. I think any re-education programme would be water off a ducks back with him, he doesn't strike me as a man who would be easily swayed. He should attend and report back in detail.

This is where we see one end of Canada as the ‘liberal and progressive country’ circle meeting the other end of Canada as the ‘authoritarian country’ circle.

It is utterly depressing and yet the inevitable conclusion of compelled speech/thought in the service of #bekind (to everyone except the wrong thinkers).

I also am quite fond of JP though don't agree with all his views, but he expresses things very clearly and his use of bible stories (about which I know nothing) to explain his point is very interesting.
