What Anglo cultures would regard as butch is just regular middle aged straight woman in Germany and Switzerland.

QueenHippolyta · 04/09/2023 19:33

I have mistaken GNC women for Lesbians though 😂
They were straight...

It's funny how the hips, stature, bust and lack of cock and balls make it easy to detect women.I've done it since I was 4.

GailBlancheViola · 04/09/2023 19:21

Nor me. I have a very GNC female friend no-one has ever mistaken her for a man either.

HorribleNecktie · 04/09/2023 12:20

I’ve never met a butch lesbian that I’ve mistaken for a man 🤷🏻‍♀️

BezMills · 04/09/2023 10:08

Yes @ArabeIIaScott fully agree.

ArabeIIaScott · 04/09/2023 08:16

Women should start having more women-only parties, organisations and events, invoking the single sex exemptions, in both public buildings and private venues?

I'm on board with that.

I see where you’re coming from, but legally there’s a huge difference between seeking single-sex provision where none currently exists, versus being deprived of a service (renting a room) because you’re legitimately providing a single-sex service.

Exactly. Also Stoneguard are a pub company. That will influence how deep the gender ideology stuff goes down. Remember too this is not the first time it has happened Bindel vs Nottingham council over cancelled meeting, Cherry vs the Edinburgh theatre. DEI have way more influence in a Council/Theatre but even there the lawyers realised the case was broken before it started. Every time these cases get legal the other side fold. Because the basis of the entire case is bad.

That is why we need more events and hopefully the TRA try to shut them down and we lawyer up. They fold. The publicity make TRA look bad and look weak. Remember the whole 2018 period where the TRA got a lot of women's meetings closed down or venue moved. Post Maya we can fight back way more easily. And we should. Chances are it will never go to court.

So the case of the battle over Sarah being denied single sex provision and other terrible stuff in the NHS is more complicated legally it seems sadly. Remember we have had mixed sex wards for years and we know they are a disaster. However with Sex Matters building strength maybe there are more legal cases to be made there.

ChokkaQuokka · 04/09/2023 03:13

Codlingmoths · 04/09/2023 01:49

Easy tiger. It’s obviously not that straightforward or Sarah wouldn’t have such a long litigious path to seeking to retain some single sex women’s dv/assault support groups in Brighton, and ditto for dv shelters all across the uk especially the ones run by a particular male person. I am legitimately surprised because there is compelling evidence that orgs and corporates have indeed been governed by their DEI execs.

The DEI execs can say what they want. No major chain wants to get sued for homophobia in a case they will 100% lose. As soon as an actual lawyer looks at this they will backtrack.

Remember there are single sex gay clubs/saunas for men all over the UK. No-one cares.

This is why we need to up our game. More events. More exposure.

The more we do the more the TRA side will get nasty and the more they are exposed.

*tough problems

RealityFan · 03/09/2023 17:06

I think men look at porn and think that it's either
1...a documentary/educational, or
2...a self help manual.

No suprise they take what they've "learnt" from it and apply to real world situations, incl touch problems to solve like "lesbians really aren't interested in me".

Circumferences · 03/09/2023 16:55

Oh wow, I am delighted to see Gender Ideology Myth number 7 "you can never tell" in real time!
Even using the "butch lesbians (who are always being booted out of the women's loos)" myth to back it up 😂
Excellent.
Keep em coming.

'puts you to the test'

fucksake. How fucking gross can you get.

Lesbians don't want dick. They don't need to 'pass a test' to prove it.

Mad isn't it? But very familiar. Many blokes feel that women should not be permitted to lesbian until they have proven to said bloke's satisfaction (peer reviewed cited materials only) that they really, really are homosexual.

This usually includes proving that even said bloke's most fantastic dick does not 'turn' them. 'You're not gay, you just haven't shagged me yet'/'I bet I could turn you' being very common ones. And snarls of 'frigid' if you declined this amazing opportunity.

It's baffling how some of these men get their egos in through doors. But it's part and parcel of the whole 'it's not like women are real people with real feelings who can actually make independent decisions and have lives that do not revolve around being sexually useful to men - cos if they're not being sexually useful to a bloke what's the point of them?' thing.

ArabeIIaScott · 03/09/2023 11:44

Hmm. A damn shame for the deletion. It's better everyone sees what's been said.

ChokkaQuokka · 03/09/2023 11:31

I’m actually kinda surprised that message was deleted.

dimorphism · 03/09/2023 10:56

Women are allowed to say 'no' to men and I've yet to meet a woman who can't accurately sex all humans they meet.

Men don't seem to be quite as good as it (which makes evolutionary sense if you think it through) although I've only known men get it wrong from pictures / videos, not in person with so much more information to go on.

It's a pretty innate skill for women. Also other mammals like dogs can correctly sex humans - males and females smell differently. The idea a chromosome test is needed is laughable.

ArabeIIaScott · 03/09/2023 10:49

Women can say 'no' to men.

We don't need to jump through hoops or make a case or pass a test.

We say no. That's all.

ArabeIIaScott · 03/09/2023 10:46

ancuruadh · 02/09/2023 08:50

And yet every time someone puts you to the test you end up confidently declaring cis women to be trans... I wonder who benefits from a bunch of people going around accusing random butch lesbians of being men? Probably not women... 🤔

FroodwithaKaren · 03/09/2023 10:40

As usual, it's the women who say no, I want to do what works for me, who are the targets.

If this worked, there wouldn't be a problem, would there? 😂

We could have the mixed sex 'lesbian' groups for those very happy with it being a mixed sex thing, and we could have the female only lesbian groups for those not, and everyone could leave everyone else alone and in peace!

Except no, male people just keep on harrassing and shutting down and erasing those homosexual females who won't just get their knickers off and learn to like dick.

Pixiedust1234 · 03/09/2023 10:32

Must not be very good feminists around here...
Is that all you have? Seriously? I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this. A twelve yr old could do a better retort 😂

WiltingAtTreadmills · 03/09/2023 08:49

Which person on here has been "put to the test" or is this yet another tedious lie?
Not able to answer this, I see.

Another homophobe who wants to deny same-sex attraction.

Keep up, dear. Sexual harassment is about both power and sex. Pestering someone for sexual favours is quintessential sexual harassment. And sexual harassment is what you were accusing lesbians of doing.

Now perhaps you can clarify if you really do think that lesbians not wanting to sleep with trans women is “bigotry”? Or perhaps it was some other thing you were accusing me of.

Just stop sexually harassing us and we'll call it good...

Are we lesbians evil terfs for refusing to break down the Cotton ceiling and sleep with trans women? Or are we evil sexual harassers of trans women (because we supposedly want to sleep with them)?

Make up your mind, gender activists, because it can’t be both.
