It’s ridiculous, all insults are universal, not gender specific. Even (IMO) ‘bitch’ which some people see as misogynistic, but I see as universal since watching Breaking Bad. Jessie calls everyone ‘bitch’ and it works. How can wanker be gender specific when everyone wanks, anyway.

How ridiculous.

Even if it is an insult largely aimed at males someone is entitled after the Forstater decision not to believe a trans person is their acquired gender and so using male specific terms is surely fine and in keeping with that (both withstanding that no one should be calling anyone names at work anyway).

Tosser (which I have been known to use strangely only when driving) is specially reserved for males.

Weirdly, same. I only use it when driving or in relation to drivers.

E.g. on 5th AVE in NYC the other day called some prat in an Escalade "a tosser" much to DHs amusement and the confusion of the Canadians/Americans near us.

(Tbf he was driving like a tosser).

Outside of driving related incidences, never use it.

Am quite enjoying "prat" at the moment.
