Alice has really let it all out in RollingStone.

Of course RS has put in all sort of passive aggressive play downs "debunking the bathroom debacle" and making out he's not got it quite right and is a bit "confused."

AC has described how he can see that self ID means unfettered access to women. Men saying they're women. Which RS has down played.

FFS, when did music journalism mean writers anxiously explaining away and apologising for what artists say?

I love Alice even more now. He's excellent as a DJ on Planet Rock.

Sounds like Alice has a very clear and realistic view. And how can anyone claim that the idea that some men will abuse the situation if they have easy access to women’s spaces be “debunked”. Typical they simply write that unevidenced statement as if it was a fact, without explaining why he’s wrong.

I couldn’t read the whole thing I was getting pissed off. I haven’t read Rolling Stone in a long time but what a pathetic piece.

ETA I mean the complaints that Alice was confused, etc. I don’t think anything Alice said was wrong.

Rolling Stone's 'debunking' is just pure gaslighting for women and nothing on the impact to children. So uninformed.

There's nothing to see here, there's no problem.

Eurgh, utter irony, I bet there's so many music people who are gender critical. Musicians are so often the original freaky don't fit in kids.
