The Equality Act does not require anyone to celebrate or even promote "diversity".

It requires employers and service providers not to unlawfully discriminate.

It also says service providers cannot cause their staff to discriminate, which this clearly would do.

It's wrong, wrong, wrong.

I agree.

Gender-critical author Helen Joyce added: 'This policy clearly unlawfully discriminates against Trust employees who hold gender-critical beliefs.'

Surely the main concern is that this policy discriminates against women who don't feel safe or comfortable in a mixed sex space.

It's not equality if you treat one group of people (men) better than another group of people (women).

That is sick. In the interests of "promoting, respecting and celebrating equality and diversity", they will shut down free speech, treat people with disrespect - including the sick people for whom they exist - discriminate severely against people of all faiths and none, and create a hierarchy of inequality.

And endanger patients, visitors and staff.

That is sick.
