Well done to the hotel staff. ‘trans ‘woman’ given key to the unisex changing room instead of the female changing room ‘trans woman’ not happy.

There was one on the first day, putting up a valiant fight and trying to draw the fire, but they gave up. I think the naked teenagers have made the whole thing impossible to defend.

I keep thinking about those poor teenage girls trying to get in and out of uncomfortable costumes. Trying to concentrate on winning the races they have trained for, got up at the crack of dawn for, given up so much for.

And then an obviously male person (Coombes has said that they 'don't pass') has been wandering around while they are undressed and made then feel awkward and vulnerable and embarrassed.

There are a huge number of reasons why we should be encouraging girls to do sport. This kind of uncomfortable experience will put many girls off for life.

To me, these actions suggest a very deliberate long term campaign with milestones and tactics. It begins with small transgressions and when no push back is experienced, escalation. All of this is done with a cloak (disguise) of ever so humble reasonableness and harmlessness which both disarms objectors and provides some plausible deniability. The confusion over the law and DEI provide cover. This is not a delusion. People like this exhibit dark triad personality traits. They need a firm "no" in response.

Agreed. We've always known that this assault on women's boundaries and safety is the target of too many middle aged men. This is particularly stark as it was teenage girls naked in a changing room all too scared to complain in case they were accused of transphobia!
I saw this earlier - it's a barrister who is not in the pay of any biased lobby groups and who, as far as I know, does not misrepresent the law for their own agenda. He's arguing that the law clearly allows organisations to legitimately bar men (no matter how they identify) from accessing naked women and girls in changing rooms and it needs amending to make this absolutely clear.
