Gender critical and working for NHS

I’m sure this has been discussed before many times, but are there any other nhs or public sector workers who are feeling anxious about all the gender stuff coming into the organisations we work for? I’m anxious about things like being told to state my pronouns (we haven’t yet but I can see it coming, other teams in the same organisation already have them on emails). I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of being trans or not, but I feel like my rights as a biological female at work will start getting trumped by trans rights ideology coming into my workplace but I won’t be able to do anything about it or say anything for fear of losing my job. A lot of the equality training I have been on in recent years has very much focused on the trans rights stuff. Hope I’m making sense but don’t want to say too much in case of outing. How do other people in similar lines of work manage this?

I ignore it. Refused to add my pronouns to email and laugh whenever anyone brings it up

@Woman2023 I’m just wondering how we can fight back against the system to protect sex based rights without losing our jobs or facing disciplinary action?

Many nhs trusts are 'captured' however there are plenty of staff who don't believe in gender identity ideology.

You definitely aren't alone.

@Justcallmebebes i did have a nosey on the policy for transitioning at work and it does say that anyone transitioning can use the toilet which aligns with their identified gender regardless of where they are in their transition. Although I’d feel at very low risk at work, this feeds into a wider ideology of female only spaces being threatened which I don’t agree with.

i’m just worried about how far it’s going to go.

I completely ignore it. We were invited to announce our pronouns on emails a while ago. I ignored this and was relieved to see, so did 99% of my colleagues.

Nod, smile and ignore
