Feminist organisation Level Up comes out batting for the breastfeeding person who's been in the news this week

There's an open letter which is like a who's who of people and organisations who've made prats of themselves on Twitter at one point or another over genderwoo.

I think I'll direct my feminist solidarity elsewhere, thanks.

I despair. All those well intentioned people diverting attention away from the women who need them - having the audacity to suggest that because we object to the idea of a man putting a new born baby to his chest to validate his own idea of himself we somehow are against adoptive mothers, step-mothers, lesbian mothers, foster-mothers, single fathers looking after their children. Can they not see the blatant manoeuvring and media manipulation of this man? What are they on? When are they going to realise that this is just not right?

I suspect that this would be one of those - "oh bugger, if I say no they'll call me a transhobe" demands requests.
