Petitioning Parliament to ban males from attempting to breastfeed infants

I am considering starting a petition on the https://petition.parliament.uk to ask the government to make a criminal offence for any male attempting to breastfeed an infant from his own nipples.

I've never started a petition before and am wondering if anyone has any tips on how to write this so it doesn't get rejected and encourages people to sign? Would love to hear any advice anyone here can offer!

I'm also concerned about my personal info being revealed on the petition website, does anyone know if there's a way of withholding identity when the petition gets published?

Rather than banning, perhaps it needs to be recognised in law as a form of CSA or child endangerment (cocktail of drugs).

This is a really good idea. The possible dangers of giving an unknown, artificially induced and chemically laden substance to babies are horrific, and additionally run the risk of depriving it of sufficient and proper sustenance.
The whole process is only about providing validation to males. The infant is secondary.

Parliament can't 'ban' males from attempting to breastfeed. I'm afraid this would be a pointless petition. This needs to be viewed as the abusive, dangerous act that it is and treated as such by police and social services but petitioning parliament sadly won't be the way to make that happen.

Yes the wording will need to be checked (ideally by a lawyer) otherwise you’ll get bogged down in word soup. Not all males believe they are males..

I set up a government petition a few years ago and your details are kept private and aren’t visible.

You would have to be clear that you mean ‘biologically male’ otherwise someone with a gender recognition certificate who is still male but lives under the legal fiction they are female could breastfeed.
