Thanks for sharing that.

However, following from the ridiculous ‘guilt by consuming media’ accusations on this thread, this is Fox News and will be quickly rejected by those who doing the approved content for the right type of feminist list.

I, however, will go and listen. I have read about her from time to time and she always has something to say that makes me think or go and check further.

I also note that that Fox regularly are the only mainstream media to platform female athletes who are campaigning to save women’s sports. I know in some countries they also have very experienced and interesting left wing commentators on regularly too. It is always advisable to listen to their stories first hand.

Yet, following the ridiculous approved list (so that we aren’t considering aligned with far right wing and supporting them) those first person accounts would have to be ignored. For purity’s sake.

And people wonder why women are fucked off being censured and shamed for the media they read and watch.

2021 census - The total population of England and Wales is about 59.6 million.

262,000 people (0.5%) said their gender identity was different from their sex registered at birth.

I am wondering how those 0.5% can make so much noise. And cause so much division all on their ownsomes. Something is going on.

Indeed.

There is a huge amount of money, and a LOT of long-game organisation involved in this, and that hasn't come from the less-than-1% who are uncomfortable with their birth sex. Someone is orchestrating and controlling this and it won't be for the benefit of the general population.

I worked in a hospital and met a number of transexual (NOT "transgender") people (all men who wanted to present as women).. They knew which sex they were, and that that wouldn't change; they knew that the way they felt was "in their heads"; all they wanted was to be able to be comfortable in their own bodies - and that's what we helped them to achieve.

Sadly, these people will be among the ones who are hurt when the backlash occurs, because they will be tarred with the same brush as the TRAs who insist that they have "changed sex" because they have put on a dress/ done something stereotypically associated with the opposite sex. (And some of them don't even do that - they just make a "declaration").

What is happening now is not dysphoria - it is "kink" and it is dangerous. There is no "cat" gender, or "fae" gender or "furry" gender or any other - there are TWO sexes. "Gender" is how society expects people of either sex to present to the world. Gender is stereotypes.

By all means, break those stereotypes - that can do nothing but good - but don't tell yourself that because you are a man and wear a hair slide, or a woman and have a heavy moustache, that you have changed sex, because you haven't.

And just leave children out of this whole controversy. They are not mentally or emotionally mature to understand any of this. If your daughter wants to have a tool set, let her; if your son wants to wear a skirt, let him. But don't tell either of them that they are in the wrong body.

I would love to hear Democratic women with huge platforms talk about the impact of gender ideology on women. Please point me their way.

Will Tulsi do? I don't believe she's been excommunicated - yet.

just throwing this article into the pile. It ties in with the paper written by Dentons.( which I have somewhere) yup, I believe we are all being duped. But let’s carry on arguing amongst ourselves while furries and minor anrracted persons ( oh there’s that language change angain) paedophiles doesn’t sound so harmless, are discretely added into the mix and normalized.

  • mucking about with massive amounts of drugs and have a go at making body bits that our bodies aren’t equipped for does. Actually . Matter. But look, plenty of unwitting teenagers to practise on and improve the surgical techniques. And profits aplenty too!

While those of us who have been observing for some time might know it is more nuanced than that it is the huge middle that will actually sway how this plays out in the long term.

Absolutely right, and unfortunately there is going to be a huge amount of collateral damage in the meantime.

Teapot13 · 04/07/2023 21:33

One of the odd things about the gender debates is the strange bedfellows. Perfect example.

Boiledbeetle · 04/07/2023 21:31

Is the heat gettig to some posters or was this somewhere else to start with?

What's with telling grown adults what they should and shouldn't watch?

And as for the purity left is good right is bad spiral some poster are trying to induce... Give it a break.

To ask everyone who has heard of using pronouns to watch this?

In fact, every women who DOES speak up for women, is instantly tarred with the ‘right wing, hateful, Nazi bigot’ brush.

Every woman.

No matter how left-leaning, progressive, even LGBTQ+ they might be themselves….

This is the de facto silencing tactic.

And that works on Left/Liberal women, so they mostly sit down and shut up.

Right/Conservative women shout back. So their voices are the ones being heard.

Right now to your average punter it looks like the Left promote TRAs and child mutilation/sterilisation and the Right are fighting the good fight.

While those of us who have been observing for some time might know it is more nuanced than that it is the huge middle that will actually sway how this plays out in the long term.

What’s interesting is that I posted this as a, I thought, clear explanation of why pronouns are dangerous. I intended it to helpfully inform mothers who are blind to the stealth indoctrination towards medicalisation of their kids. And yes, that means yours too.
I thought it was informative because she has admitted changing her views as she gained more knowledge.
yet here we mostly are in an emotive discussion as to her background and other beliefs, and this means we should dismiss her. The message I’d like you to hear, and spread, is lost, while we all argue. I believe it’s a tactic used forever - that if we are kept angryand emotional, we will miss seeing what is actually going on.
I am very concerned that this means anyone who has, at any time, held a view that doesn’t align in everything we agree with, is not to be listened to.
To my mind that means we are in trouble. To my mind that means we are not allowing people to review their beliefs based in newly acquired knowledge, and if they hold a view about something, anything, we disagree with - we will argue amongst ourselves and their message is lost.
I think, right or left, whatever you believe re gender, we are all being duped.

Yup. You said that better than I did.

People we need to think on this

CrazyArmadilloLady · 04/07/2023 21:25

I follow Riley Gaines on SM. It turns out she is Christian. American Christians get all of my antennae prickling, I must admit. And of course, she gets discredited as being a right-wing, hateful, transphobic bigot.

But, nonetheless, I side with Riley Gaines on this issue, and am thankful she has actually spoken up.

I happen to agree with JK Rowling and find the attempts to ‘cancel’ her appalling. And, at least in my case, my refusal to listen to people such as kelly is due to having listened to them enough to realize they are not worth listening to.

i do find it curious that posters who dislike shills for conservative propaganda, like kelly, are accused of attempting to keep people from listening. i have not read one post which stated ‘do not listen to her’. In fact, the gist is ‘i don’t listen to her’. ‘I don’t’ in no way implies ‘you can’t’.

The accusations that people who listen to this video are supporting her is there in different formats in posts. Maybe you missed them?

Or maybe you find people attempting to use shame to be acceptable because the words ‘don’t watch it’ wasn’t mentioned?

Prove that Megyn Kelly is a racist.

Simple google search will help you out here, many times over!

So if I google Megyn Kelly racist? I'll find her actually being racist?

Or will I find someone else saying she is racist?

Because personally I like to see the proof, not just take someone else's word for it.

Go back to page 1 of the thread and read it - people being thoroughly discredited for even thinking about listening to her.

I, too, would love for just one female Democrat to speak up for women.

I genuinely think it's a tactic used to keep women from uniting. To point out ways we are different or disagree so we then focus on that rather than the topic at hand. I would march next to a racist against gender ideology, and I would March next to a TRA against racism. The point is we speak keep speaking and peak people to what is happening

Absolutely!

And I also wonder how people know that Megyn Kelly is "vile and racist" if they never listen to her.

Is it in the same way that "everyone knows that JK Rowling is a bigot and a TERF" but no-one can ever point to anything she has said or written which is booted or TERF-y?

I only know MK from this particular video, which I saw a while back, and the segment where she interviewed the14 year old poet. I don't know anything else about her.

However, since she is speaking about it, I did make an assumption that she was of the right because I have yet to see anyone from the Democratic side be so fiercely frank about the topic.

I would love to hear Democratic women with huge platforms talk about the impact of gender ideology on women. Please point me their way.

I didn't think you were, Bore.

MavisMcMinty · 04/07/2023 21:02

Absolutely. As Stephen King says, if a book is banned from school, young people must seek out and read that book.

IWillNoLie · 04/07/2023 20:55

I wasn’t going to bother listening. As pp say, there is too much stuff to listen to everything. But the determination of posters that I should not listen means I feel should now dedicate the time to doing so.
