France - women only lesbian groups banned from Pride events

'A female-only lesbian advocacy group in France was excluded from their local Pride parade on the basis that they did not allow the membership of trans-identified males. Femmes Entre Elles was labeled “transphobic” for restricting its advocacy to issues faced by women.
Femmes Entre Elles, which translates to “Women Among Themselves,” is a single-sex association for lesbian and bisexual women that has operated for over 30 years. It has been involved in campaigns to support women’s sex-based rights and the rights of lesbian women.
But on May 27, the group was informed via email that they were not welcome to participate in the annual Pride march in Rennes'

That's a really poor response.

This is very highly regarded report on equality for women and is referred to by governments and bodies worldwide to help them understand and address the inequalities that women experience.

It's interesting how the question I asked can't be answered simply.

It's a question that clearly doesn't bother the top 4 countries in the world on the global gender gap index, so I'm not overly bothered by it either.

Nobody has ever sensibly addressed my query as to why the top 4 countries in the world that are doing the best to close the gender gap between men and women are also countries that have proceeded with self-id?

If it's such a crazy idea why are the countries that are doing the best for the women in them, and have the strongest history and track record on equality for women, also proceeding with self-id?

Have the millions of people in these countries that support self-id just suddenly lost their minds or something?

Why would you think that these countries who have made such good policies for women are suddenly making bad decisions for women now?

So many deletions! But I get the gist of what those posts say.

By the logic of a much deleted poster those on here must actually, as well as Nazis, be aligned with the deleted posters point of view because they were here right besides the rest of us on this thread. (Yet obviously we aren't because their posts have had to be deleted) In real life that would equate to them standing in the middle of a group of us. And therefore if we are aligned with that poster that poster must be aligned with us and therefore that poster is also aligned with actual Nazis by the 'by association rules' they seem to have made up in their heads!

It's all fucking cuckoo land levels of la la.

If I were a TRA who monitored MN, and a thread appeared about lesbians, I’d certainly claim to be a lesbian who was trans-inclusive. I mean, it makes sense, i guess. So many transwomen do seem to identify as ‘lesbian’, as opposed to ‘straight’.

In fact, the pool seems to be so large, that transwomen ‘lesbians’ could all just date each other, I’d’ve thought. Except that they, also, appear to be as ‘TERF in the sheets’ as actual lesbians.

The people protesting against Posie and Let Women Speak are aligned with the people making death and rape threats to Jo Rowling, telling women to "die in a grease fire", and on and on and on.

Only two groups of people of people have had public book-burnings of Harry Potter books - TRAs and the American religious right. And the Nazis were big on publicly burning books by authors that they disapproved of.
