At DW's workplace one of her male colleagues (let's call them A) came out as a trans woman last year (resulting unsurprisingly in the end of A's marriage). 'A' now has a 'girlfriend' who is also a trans woman. Apparently (according to them) they are lesbians.

I am sure you all notice the constant use of ‘you lot’ along with that vitriol. The dehumanisation of using that word becomes clear with that vitriol.

When you have such a polarised view of the world and anyone who doesn’t stand with you is to be considered less than human, then it is very easy to resort to posting such vitriol. And the reasons for that vitriol never to be backed up with any substantial evidence or knowledge. Just raw emotion.

Well, they are all married and have zero idea what it is like trying to date as a lesbian in the current climate. It's easy to say transwomen are women and can therefore be lesbians when you've got no skin in the game.
