I’ve laughed before about India Willoughby saying that Mumsnet was like the Nuremburg Rallies. It’s so hyperbolic that it’s funny.

As for why gay men eroticise their drag performance, I’d always imagined it was basically because women who are considered “slutty” are easiest to demean.

In case people aren't familiar with this person it should be noted, not an actual Dr just identifies as one because he was given an honourary doctorate. People who actually worked for their doctorate will tell you its a big no no to refer to yourself as Dr when you haven't earned one. The fact its in his twitter name I think tells you everything you need to know

Rory is bloody awful. So self-righteous and increasingly hostile to women. Years ago I would stand up for him as he was actually a very good entertainer (I know many on this board would never agree, but still).

However now, like Eddie Izzard, I'd be perfectly happy never to hear them spouting their hateful, blinkered guff ever again.

I never got what it meant. I just assumed it meant protesting with a glass of prosecco in hand!
Either way Panti Bliss hadn't an iota about the debate yesterday.
Ridiculous tweet when he obviously hadn't a clue what it was about. The trans MP chose not to speak but was present at the debate!

But you can’t tell who is trans. There could have been dozens of trans MPs taking part in that debate and we literally wouldn’t have been able to tell. Right?
