I note in the Twitter thread last posted the lady wants to un-gaslight herself and save cis society. Or some such.

Don’t bother, hen. There is no such thing as cis society.

Elon Musk is pointing out obvious things, and people are finally getting this information. Good.

I don’t want to be told what to think and called anything-phobe or gay-killer because I point out biological facts about the human race. Tthe gas-lighting I have experienced has only come from people promoting trans-genderism. Wildly inaccurate, comparing humans to fish or shellfish, quick to scream blue murder and calling me all sorts of insults whilst refusing to listen to anything I say.

That Elon Musk is saying something that has long been verboten in western media is good. It is opening a debate. Which has been lacking due to the no debate cry, yet again only from one side.

I am not denying anyones existence. I am asking that you understand that you are born female or male and that you cannot actually change your sex even if you are thinking it with your Brain.

"Congratulations. You have successfully demonstrated that you can copy-paste a section from Wikipedia's entry on Nye Bevan. For your next trick, how about cracking the spine of a book? I would highly recommend "Nye" by Thomas-Symonds, which has a very well researched section on the early support many Labour ministers voiced for Hitler's employment policies. Because, of course, the Nazis were the National Socialist party. Please don't make the rookie mistake of assuming that Nazism was a predominantly right wing ideology: it adopted many far well established elements of Left Wing thought, including improved workers rights and job creation, heavy pressure and taxation on large corporations, eugenics, and, of course, rabid anti-semitism. "

And the hits just keep on coming! 👏🏻 So many people seem to have forgotten that the word Nazi derives from Nationalsozialist or National Socialist in English

I was deleted for saying the national party were a nationalist left party not right. Authoritarianism almost always comes from the left because they believe they are morally right and very subject to group think.
Generally centre and right parties are more pragmatic and realistic.

Why on earth would you be deleted for that? It is a matter of record. They weren't purely left wing, they took elements of both left and right ideology, with liberal dollops of a weird kind of teutonic mysticism which also had a long history. The occult elements and interests of various nazi party members is a whole topic in itself.

What the nazis definitely were not was fascists, although these days some ill-educated people mistakenly elide the two ideologies.

Aneurin Bevan, Labour Minister, was vocal in his early support for Hitler and Mosley

I agree that when Bevan was a new MP, he was briefly attracted to Mosley's arguments, when the latter was Labour MP for Smethwick. Bevan did write a letter to the government on behalf of the Mosley group, about its "failure to deal with unemployment". When Mosley quite the Labour Party in early 1931 to form the New Party, Bevan refused to join him. By 1932, Mosley's New Party had migrated from the left over to the far-right of British politics and became the British Union of Fascists. Bevan's past association with Mosley would be used against him in subsequent years by his political rivals. During the 1930s, Bevan was a staunch anti-fascist and anti-Nazi. I do not know of any occasion when Bevan voiced support for Hitler or the Nazis.

"I agree that when Bevan was a new MP, he was briefly attracted to Mosley's arguments"

Good God, the arrogance! So you 'agree' that something which happened, did in fact happen. The past is fact. It's not waiting for you to condescend to 'agree' to it. LOL.

As recently as 2019, Rebecca Long Bailey was calling for a national socialism, which she called 'patriotic socialism'. The most authoritarian impulses live on the Left.

That's not an 'idiot', that's someone speaking out for trans rights and against gender fascism, as far as I can see.

What is 'gender fascism' and why do you believe that children who identify as transgender should be sterilised?

itsmylife7 · 14/06/2023 11:50

@Moonandstarz well played 😉

@PrincessPalatine
Well you said "half a dozen idiots"
I replied "like this one"? with a link to a tweet
You said "yes exactly"
I replied "glad we agree on something"!

How am I in the wrong here. You were agreeing with me when I provided an example of what you called "half a dozen idiots"!!!!

"Gender fascism", eh?

Is that what the defence of women's and children's rights and safety is to some people?

Right-o.

Playing the man instead of the ball again @PrincessPalatine, maybe try sticking to the point in debate rather than attacking the medium/messenger

He sounds quite a lot like Hitler, based on that. Awfully misguided if he believes in 'clever genes'.

It’s always the person who Godwins the thread that is losing the argument, every single time.

Elon is doing great things in letting us hear opposing viewpoints, something the old Twitter never did, and he’s right about protecting kids from mutilation.

You'll be able to afford one soon as Inchcape and the other big dealerships are introducing lease finance on the new mass market model. the UK Govt is going to do the same for disabled blue badge holders which is how my DH is going to be able to afford one :-)

I don;t care what Elon said about the Thai diver guy. Aneurin Bevan, Labour Minister, was vocal in his early support for Hitler and Mosley, but I still admire him for founding the NHS, and I mentally doff my cap to his statue in my hometown in South Wales.

People can be right someones and wrong sometimes. Just because someone has said or thought something wrong at one point in their lives, doesn't mean they aren't right about something else. You seem to be trying to communicate to me that you have a well paid job, so I presume you are university educated. In which case, you really ought to know this already. Either you do know this, and are pretending not to for the sake of argument, which is a pathetic and disingenuous move, or you honestly think that someone being wrong on one subject means that they are wrong about everything else, in which case your expensive education failed you and you really shouldn't have that good job.

Elon is right about trans kids.

Elon Musk is a smart man. He made electric cars affordable and available to the masses much more quickly than any of the big OEMs.

I wouldn't say the masses, they are pretty expensive and I certainly can't afford one. I'm not a squillionaire, but I'm not poorly paid.

I agree that he's right on this issue, but he's a dishonest bully, who believes that free speech extends to allowing slander. He called Vernon Unsworth "pedo guy" on a number of occasions, said that he was having sex with his wife when she was 13 and that he was only in Thailand for underage sex.

He paid a private investigator to get evidence to that effect, but bizarrely, won his case.
