And curious about the origins of pig 🐖🐖 I went googling

It was first used in London in 1829 when Sir Robert Peel took over the reins of the Metropolitan Police. The reason for this association was his love for Sandy Back Pigs that he brought in Tamworth. The pigs became known as Tamworth pigs and thus the association of the term with the police.

I'm frankly sick of ALL men making violent threats and I don't care how they identify. They are all equally men, and, as a result, far more capable of damaging innocent people than women can.

Years ago, I worked with elderly residents. An 80 yr man confined to a wheel chair once grabbed my colleague's neck so tightly she passed out. It took three of us female healthcare workers (we were all young and healthy) to release his handgrip. Men can kill us with their bare hands. The least we should be allowed is to talk about it.

Like I 'say' I apologise for the 'lack' of 'inverted commas' in my previous 'posts' and if you found them 'confusing'. You never seemed to 'mention' it before in the 'other posts' but if you now 'find' it 'too confusing' I will remember to include them.... sorry 'include them'
