A lot of big charities now prefer bossing people about to the hassle of fulfilling their charitable aims. See also Amnesty.

This is so often the question - how mnay people think that soemehing is ok. Or how many are too cowardly to say anything. I get the cowardliness but it is a shame.

The main point with Oxfam though is they have such form that I think this was not overlooked. They just really, really mean it.

So merely stating that you believe in biological fact and that you cannot change your sex is hate. Facts are not hate. The pulling the wool over people's eyes and telling them that thinks that cannot be changed (science) can be is delusional. Where is the hate to LGB people in that. Are you unaware how hateful some trans people are to LGB which means that increasingly LGB individuals are distancing themselves from TQ?+ABCDEFGH?

I see your point but even so it is not on. Letting them get away with it to peak a few more is the wrong way to go about it I think. They will just repeat the women hating beahviour because they ahve got away with it.

Another Charity off the donation list. The promotion of trans versus the biological reality. The trans really have managed to convince some big stores and big charities that the men are victims haven't they.

I cancelled my donation to them earlier this year. There are plenty of other charities out there

I give up an evening per week to volunteer at a long-established local charity with a lot of community support. Names and contact details of all the trustees, plus local and national safeguarding leads are prominently displayed. When you see the results a focused and competent local charity can achieve, you wonder how some of the big brand charities lost their way.

Note that this charity, like the Oxfam shop I volunteered at for a while in my 20s, is kept going solely by older female volunteers.

As a charity, Oxfam shouldn't be making profits at all - all income should be used for its charitable purposes which are to relieve poverty, combat distress and alleviate suffering.

Alienating a substantial number of their regular donors and volunteers won't harm their profits, but it will significantly reduce the proportion of their income which will go to meet their charitable objectives.

Women saying 'no' is not vitriol. And given the sexual violence by Oxfam workers against women and girls, it seems to be something that Oxfam gave a real issue with.
