I don’t think I want to know what an expectant… is but I think they stated they suffer from arthritis which seems young. This is where ‘identifying as’ falls down because biologically and medically that is never going to work.

The Pulitzer website says the award is for "For book reviews that scrutinize authors as well as their works, using multiple cultural lenses to explore some of society’s most fraught topics." The website then specifies 5 specific book reviews that contributed to winning the prize.

Great for Chu to have won an award for their book reviews. Doesn't mean any of their comments about women are any more valid or relevant as a result!

Congratulations to Caitlin Dickerson, Anna Wolfe and Caroline Kitchener for their awards for Investigative Reporting, Explanatory Reporting and Local Reporting respectively.
