Haldane judgement appeal

Sorry if there's already a thread that I missed, but I haven't seen one. FWS are appealing the Haldane judgement (the one that put "legal sex" where we'd really expect and want "sex"). I just donated: you might want to too. Can't post the link here but if you Google

you'll find it.

Thank you so much for your pledge. The Scottish Government has until 19th May to respond to our Grounds of Appeal before we move onto the next stage of the court action.
We now only have 13 days left to raise the remaining target to cover our legal fees, and we can't do it without your help!
It would be amazing if you could:

  • Share our link on Twitter or Facebook: link removed on order to post but go to crowd justice site and in the 'menu' box choose 'Explore Cases' and search for For Women Scotland in current cases.

For Women Scotland have not long tweeted the following:

If we don't appeal the ruling, public boards, all-women shortlists, training programmes and other opportunities for women can be filled entirely with bio men who hold a GRC and still be lawful.

I don't want to try and cajole people. Obviously only give if you are comfortably able to afford. This is a bit different than petitions, isn't it. I'll stop.

As with everything people can read and do what they want with the information.

This one is so very important and has very short window to raise. And it's really all or nothing.

Even a £1 will help get it to the total.
