When the vast majority of people agree with you on something as fundamental as reality matters, then it’s not surprising that some of those people are Christians and even that some of those people will have other opinions that you don’t agree with.

Going back to the video though, and the footage of the crowd - quite a few non-white faces there. So that particular crowd is not white-supremacist...

This is exactly what's happening. In a world where governments still had a grip of reality this kind of group would be considered fringe lunatics but here we are and I can't see it getting any better. It's an entirely predictable outcome.

I've been wearing a Celtic cross since I was about 18. I'll be buggered if I give it up because some other swine have misappropriated it. People will have to talk to me to decide if I'm a bigot or not.

It’s bloody annoying that there is a gaping space for these dodgy groups to step into.

So glad that it’s not a right wing/left wing religious/non religious issue in the UK (although that’s partly because the Tories have also been rubbish on Self ID until recently and the Archbishop of Canterbury is batshit)

Yeah. It’s ridiculous that women say a common sense thing like “I think people should be free to be who they are but I don’t think people who were born with male advantage should compete against women in sports and also women in prisons and shelters shouldn’t be locked in with men with rape convictions” and then they get called actual Nazi white supremacist transphobe bigot anti semites, so eventually some bad actors take advantage of the issue because it’s been made to look like some extremist position and not something everyone knew until 5 years ago.

Oh. Just looked at their website. A bit Trumpian :-(

The red hats should have given it away really.

The Bible handouts did bother me a bit, I am not a Christian, but then people have a right to have Christian beliefs and express them, just like any group. I expect that freedom has been squashed with schools having to bend to gender ideology.

But this organisation still possibly dodgy, veering into racism and homophobia?

Maybe not all of those boys are fully in with it. And to be fair, they were much less aggressive and more articulate than the average TRA crowd.

Unfortunately this is the kind of group that does more damage than good when speaking up against gender stuff. They just reinforce the idea that anyone who disagrees with it is a white supremacist, neo-nazi etc which in turn makes it harder for sane opposition to be heard (since our media just loves to conflate the two).
