Canadian Police basically give permission for Trans Activists to attack anyone who disagrees with them

Billboard Chris who travels around North America protesting against Transing kids films his attack but police say he provoked it.

The violence is escalating, something bad is going to happen unless this is stopped.

Watch the video carefully he assaulted her first

You're actually looking to defend that attack?

This is really scary.
Billboard Chris is astonishingly composed but I gasped at the violence of the blond man’s attack.
But there are people on Twitter saying Chris doesn’t have a leg to stand on legally because Chris made contact first. That, and the police failing to act, is the really scary thing.

I guess it depends on how the law works in Canada. That blond man’s behaviour was clearly threatening. He was getting closer and closer to Chris and shouting right in his face. In the UK this would fall under “threatening behaviour” but in Canada they might consider this type of think to be acceptable. From one of the angles you can see that Chris put his hand on the man’s chest to keep some distance between them. I imagine he was pretty fearful that he was about to be assaulted. I know I would have been.

Brefugee · 02/04/2023 11:47

if they are Marxists - where is their class analysis of how women are affected by this? or how trans people are opressed due to class?

Littlesprouts · 02/04/2023 10:58

Given the quick, violent reaction, I suspect the blond was trying to create just that situation - make the guy put up a hand to push him away and then there is an excuse for assault.

It reminded me of the Netflix 'jokes are funny' protest when they snapped the guy's sign then started screaming he had a weapon. It's underhand, nasty and horrible to see.

Scary to see he was not protected by police, when the trans person's tactics were clear as day. No matter what your politic that's an appalling way to behave and I wouldn't want that person anywhere near me for sure.

There is a lot more to this. I don't think you will like the rest due to who posted it, so just kept this part.

It makes me think of Nirvana “just because you’re paranoid, don’t mean they’re not after you”.

The thing about Ockham’s Razor though, is that it is “do not postulate unnecessary entities”.

So, in the case of the conjurer, you are postulating the existence of ‘magic’ - being able to bend the laws of physics. It is a much simpler explanation to think that these person has set out to entertain and has worked hard on their act like other entertainers- no unnecessary entities required.

KatMcBundleFace · 02/04/2023 10:23

I'm so sick of their shit.
That was a horrible watch.

Piece on this behaviour by James Lindsay the other day - although in this instance the perpetrator seems to have blown it. The point is to get the person you're confronting to snap, not to suddenly snap yourself...

A key tactic in the Woke Marxist activism toolbox is an unconventional warfare technique known as “mid-level violence,” or, in other words, strategic provocation. In this strategy, agitators will engage in behavior that, if accepted, moves one of their mass-line agendas along or that, if resisted, provokes a reaction that can be framed as an unjust overreaction (“wound collecting” or “crybullying”). They are masters at this. In fact, it’s Antifa’s bread-and-butter tactic, and its goal is always to put its target into a dilemma of giving in and demoralizing themselves or reacting and thus being portrayed as having overreacted. Join host James Lindsay in this episode of New Discourses Bullets as he explains how this malicious tactic works.

The problem is that the trans loonies are to a large extent out of control - their narcissistic rage has overtaken their strategic thinking, so what you're seeing is the tattered remains of once-smart tactics. (See also the rather frayed-looking Dentons advice to push through reforms behind the scenes.)

This made me very anxious when I watched it. The massive bloke with blonde hair was pushing and pushing until he got what he wanted - Chris could have been killed. The aggression seeped from every pore.
These men are aggressive, violent and feel very righteous about their cause. They are emboldened as the police appear to support them whatever they do.
It is becoming very frightening now and I worry greatly for anyone who puts themselves on the front line of any activism against this insanity.

Please everyone, keep safe.

ThreeLocusts · 02/04/2023 09:06

The Vancouver Sun is now reporting that the police have opened an investigation. They are asking for people to turn in video - looking for a way to exculpate themselves?

I lived in Vancouver in the 2000s and the police were awful already then. But at least there was no TWAW agenda for them to uphold then.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 02/04/2023 09:05

‘The fact that they are only supporting one group's free speech (enshrined in Canadian law) is awful’

Yep. Also, since when did free speech mean screaming fuck you repeatedly in someone‘s face?

rabbitwoman · 02/04/2023 09:05

I am fairly certain that anyone looking at that video in good faith will recognise that Chris was not the aggressor. He had already been assaulted once. He was surrounded by men literally screaming in his face and you could hear the aggression in their voices. Anyone would have felt threatened, anyone would have been entitled to defend themselves in this situation.

He was calm, he did not engage - it's all been filmed from several angles. His motion was to put a hand up to push the most aggressive man out of his face and you can see there was no force behind it, no anger.

He could so easily have been killed. Posie Parker could easily have been killed. That poor old lady who was punched in the face at Hyde Park could have been killed.

This is awful. And if Chris really was provoking it with his sign, what about the signs and tee shirts at pride actually inciting violence?

I tell you what, when the bubble bursts and this is actually over there will be a lot of questions and a lot of people with blood on their hands.

Brefugee · 02/04/2023 08:57

he was recording as was the chap interviewing him. I watched both videos. The police woman in the one where she was laughing and telling him he was in the wrong was scary, she is completely captured and knows there are films from several angles showing what happened.

Sign-man (Chris) put a hand out to stop the blonde one getting further in his face. I don't know why a middle-aged man on his own should have anything other than police help when he is surrounded by people screeching in his face like that.

The fact that they are only supporting one group's free speech (enshrined in Canadian law) is awful

That whole situation is crazy, I don't know how the police were letting those people scream right in his face. That's a type of assault as far as I'm concerned.

A couple of the people on Twitter pointed out that the sign guy was the first one to touch the other guy, and that might be significant legally. Which might be true - but if so it's fucking insane. The guy was way inside his space, anyone normal would be putting up a hand to try and push the person back a little or just to assert a boundary, it would be very difficult to stop yourself from doing it.

Given the quick, violent reaction, I suspect the blond was trying to create just that situation - make the guy put up a hand to push him away and then there is an excuse for assault. The police are fucking dupes for letting it get that far.

It's also notable that a woman would be extremely unlikely to ever create that kind of a situation with a man.

I've seen another video where an actual woman is repeatedly kicking him. Mind you she is in a gang of like minded zealots.

Perhaps Chris should get security or link up with some group? I fear he will be seriously injured soon - or worse.

So much DARVO!

I found this useful.

Occam's Razor fails, for example:
—In every situation where a conspiracy truly exists.
—In every situation where someone is framed.
—In every "magic" trick (i.e., innocent illusionist act). "Well, that was magical!" is the simplest explanation; but the true one involves much subtle explanation regarding sleight of hand, etc.
—In many cases pertaining to astronomy (and plenty other sciences).
—When people are trying to deceive us.
—In psyops, etc.
—In way too many other situations to list!

That’s really interesting.

The police are absolutely shocking on this

would they allow this sort of thing to happen if someone was being interviewed by any other type of media organisation

RufustheSpeculatingreindeer · 02/04/2023 08:35

Shocking violence

I can’t abide hypocrites and cowardly people who attack in gangs

It’s terrifying to witness a toddler in control of an adult male body.

RosesInWater · 01/04/2023 21:34

They are cornered in the sense that their ideology is being called out at last.

I know that the situation was abhorrent and the police looked on, but the TRAs are getting desperate now and know the game is nearly up.
