I feel sad for the peaceful wig-wearers, but they really do need to get their Wig-Wearers Lobby Groups and Support Orgs to devise safeguarding policies that prevent violent wig-wearers from hurting non-wig-wearers (and thus damaging the cause for all wig-wearers).

Well it would be, yes, if you were judging him purely on the basis of the wig rather than the fact he is screaming like a maniac and then punching an innocent man.

Freedom of expression doesn't equal freedom of aggression.

If Chris touched the person that was interfering in his conversation (exercising his freedom of expression) with another person, it's because the police person who should have stepped in, stood there watching.

In the end, the trans person and the police person are actually reinforcing the prejudice and intolerance toward trans people, and the lack of trust in the police, by acting as if they are above the law.

After a similar thing happened to me, I now avoid both. I'm not intolerant, I'm afraid of them. Is it prejudice? Probably, because I know that not all trans people and police people are like that, but fear is stronger than anything else, particularly if you are an autistic person like me.

Except Chris didn’t even snap. He gently puts his hand on crazy guy‘s chest when crazy guy keeps on looming into his space. He is not out of control or even close to losing it even for an instant.

No he did not! The dude in the blonde wig was practically pressed up against in, screaming, swearing and spitting inches from his face and he was completely ignoring him trying to answer the reporter’s questions. He raised his hand up and placed it on his chest because the guy was encroaching on his personal space continuously.

I’ve been following Chris since he started out and never once has he been intimidating, threatening or incited violence. He calmly stands and talks and has conversations. That’s all he does. I think what he does is incredibly brave in the face of these aggressive, intimidating groups.
