Jesus fuck.

Children and teachers are being shot dead in their schools and the take here is the question around the birth sex of the perpetrator? Not the fact that unbalanced, angry people maybe shouldn't have ready access to lethal weapons?

Personally I think it's disrespectful to the victims and families that respect for the perpetrators gender identity is obfuscating the reporting of what has happened.

My heart goes out to all those bereaved and impacted and I think they have the right to know the sex of the person who committed this crime.

The faux outrage in response to asking this question is very telling.

Kindness to the families is supporting them to understand the truth of what happened to their loved ones and by whom.

Exactly.

Its worth reporting all the posts where the poster is being aggressive/insulting.

Dodgeitornot · 28/03/2023 00:20

@Messyhair321 You seem to have a pretty good idea what they're thinking and feeling based on your responses.

You obviously don't read much then there are loads but that is beside the point.

Loads of females shooting up kids in schools? Do tell.

There were 4 female mass shooters, before today.

So to everyone who thinks it's irrelevant I ask a hypothetical question; if you were told to beware there's an armed and dangerous woman on the loose but it was actually a man you needed to watch out for would that be ok?

The finger waggers and virtue signallers will not answer you. If children are being shot up in places where they should be safe, I think that it is absolutely crucial we we use the correct words to describe sex and teach the kids the same. I dont believe that telling lies for the sake of kindness saves lives.

The only female school shooter I can remember is Brenda Spencer and that was over 40 years ago.
Also unusually, the two people she killed were adults, not children, though she injured several.

You obviously don't read much then there are loads but that is beside the point.

Three children and three adults were killed in a shooting at a private religious school in Nashville, authorities said. The shooter, who police said was a white 28-year-old from the Nashville area, was shot dead by two officers. Police initially identified the shooter as a woman but a spokesperson later told WPLN's Alexis Marshall that the shooter was assigned female at birth and used he/him pronouns.

From NPR.

Ok wow so they were actually female. And they killed children?? That is absolutely crazy.

Speculating here:

But I wonder how testosterone affects womens agression?

Also, again total speculation, but I wonder if she was emaulating that type of male offending?

Poor victims and their families.

lifeturnsonadime · 28/03/2023 00:13

you have to call someone unhinged just because I'm not seeing this the same way as you?

that's not what I said at all.

You are disputing police evidence.

I am sure it will all come to light in due course.

The families of those children and the teachers deserve the truth. Despite what you believe.

Three babies dead and what is the subject of conversation??

So much that is shameful in this thread 😢

Yes, agree with this.
Let's get to the point.
RIP sleep in peace

Responding to them achieved nothing other than wasting your time and derailing the thread.

@Messyhair321 in this case, 'we' means 'others on this board who are against gender ideology'. I obviously didn't mean you?!

And of course, people of all sexes and 'genders' commit crimes. No one is saying they don't.

However....

Would you kindly quote me some statistics on female mass shooting perpetrators v male perpetrators?

Or murderers in general?

Or assault?

Or sexual assault?

As whilst the statistics still relate (mostly) to sex then you might see an interesting pattern emerging..

Pfft f off with your statistics we all know they can prove anything. & That's just what it is, academic
You can't underestimate crime & allocate it narrowly to men that's bonkers & a bit odd. And it ignores sociological factors

I'm not talking about that anyway right now as I think it's not respectful at this moment, this is not about the perpetrator, this is about people losing family & that's what it should be about today. Put your prejudice away & think about that.

Dodgeitornot · 28/03/2023 00:04

@Messyhair321 The perpetrator has left a menifesto...and you are going to disagree with this?? Wow you're really taking this opinion thing to the next level. Maybe don't go into law. Politics seems more up your street.

Dodgeitornot · 28/03/2023 00:01

@Birdsweepsin I honestly know very very little about the trans community, TRA or any other abbreviations on here. I wish no one offence or harm, I genuinely cannot imagine how those families will be sleeping tonight. However, it does make me really frightened that we've got to the point where the media don't feel comfortable saying whether the perpetrator was male or female, and this can't even be discussed on a forum. The level of hatred posters on here are recieving for simply asking the sex of the perpetrator is scary. Is this the norm on this topic?
I am really pissed off for those parents that they don't even know who they should be angry at tonight. Is it a he, is it a she? Aiden or Audrey? Do they not deserve to at least know who they'd wish will rot in hell? Seems like a very basic thing to me, even that's been stripped from them.

Maybe people do, or maybe they don't realise how important crime statistics are when it comes to deciding what groups are vulnerable and need extra help. But they really, really are. Sex is very important in crime. It always will be.

lifeturnsonadime · 28/03/2023 00:01

Messyhair321 · 27/03/2023 23:56

So what? How is that relevant? It doesn't mean everyone has to agree with the authority view. People don't most of the time, except when it suits...eh. They might have an entirely different approach & view than the general public or anyone else. Why should everyone agree with that

So how is police evidence relevant to solving a crime?

Oh my days.

The lengths you are going to to deny a link. You do realise that in the US trans people are protected if there isn't a link the police won't find one? If they didn't think there was one they certainly wouldn't be saying there could be in a press conference.

You are starting to come across unhinged.

Redebs · 28/03/2023 00:01

Dodgeitornot · 27/03/2023 23:48

@Birdsweepsin There are unfortunately dead children every single day in the US thanks to their gun laws. If we start misrepresenting the sex of perpetrators in statistics, there will be a lot more dead children when women lose their vulnerable group status.

Well said

And if we start pretending that gender dysphoria isn't a disorder often correlating with other comorbidities, we will be missing out on providing support for a proportion of highly dangerous individuals. While many people with gender dysphoria are no risk to anyone else, there remains a disproportionate number who have serious issues that affect others.
