Chris Phelp on KJK and trans movement. This seems significant.

They need a word with the Met.

The auditor bloke getting things on camera as an impartial bystander is a real PR disaster for them.

BoredOfThisMansWorld · 27/03/2023 12:08

As an aside, do the more naive young TRAs ever stop to notice that the very same institutionally racist, misogynist and homophobic police that they chant about defunding, find it rather easy to stick up for TRAs however scary a mob they are?

ArabellaScott · 27/03/2023 12:03

Yep. I am wondering if the Home office are going to have formal words with the NZ police/govt.

Excellent now as a Home Office minister what he is going to do about the police taking no action this weekend in London

Whaeanui · 27/03/2023 12:02

Me too. The minister of police said beforehand she was confident that the police were in control and able to protect everyone. They were asked many times before, Posie was in contact. They knew. They did this on purpose.

ArabellaScott · 27/03/2023 11:55

The police knew Posie was coming, they knew there was going to be an event where women spoke. They weren't there to protect women.

It seems deliberate, to me.

It’s domestic terrorism. And so long as it’s been left wing women victimised by what appears to be their own side, the government DGAF, however now they can see Posie/KJK has or could get traction in the mainstream, they finally speak up. Better late than never.

That said I’ll believe that the government take this seriously when cabinet members comment on it and when they raise it in Parliament to condemn what has happened in NZ to Posie and the NZ women she was with and what happened to Maria MacLachlan and all the attacks on women’s right to speak that have happened in the UK - including apparently sanctioned kettling at Speakers Corner just this weekend by TRAs.
The police response should be criticized. They’re leaving peaceful women who are protesting completely unprotected.

Whaeanui · 27/03/2023 11:52

Posie said she was under police protection until she left?!?! After they let her be attacked first

ArabellaScott · 27/03/2023 11:50

Seems apt.

What a great statement!

ArabellaScott · 27/03/2023 11:49

I'm stunned to hear this stated so clearly:

"women’s rights have been threatened by the trans movement"

‘I completely support everybody’s right to protest, especially women’s rights to protest. I think the way that women’s rights have been threatened by the trans movement is deeply concerning to me, I’m very concerned about the law that was proposed obviously in Scotland, that the government took action over.

I think what happened in New Zealand was just terrible, that lady had every right to express her views in defence of women’s rights, it was a completely legitimate thing to do and the way that she was essentially abused by a baying mob was completely unacceptable’

Chris Philp, Home Office

Excellent statement.

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 27/03/2023 11:43

Boom! Well done KJK and all the NZ women organisers.

Wtf has it come too that multiple women were assaulted by transactivists before the authorities decided to take notice?

nilsmousehammer · 27/03/2023 11:38

A very clear statement. And heartening to see that the government are fully aware of and concerned by both what happened to women in NZ and on their doorstep in London this weekend for daring to peacefully talk about their rights.
