Standing for Women - NZ tour discussion. (To prevent further derailing of the thread for centring the women)

Let’s move the general discussion about the New Zealand ‘Let Women Speak’ tour out of the thread set up to centre the women speaking at the Australian and New Zealand tours.

This was the live feed.

https://www.youtube.com/live/eDuy2Kx2HlI?feature=share

The event was over run by violent trans activists. Not only did they use the usual intimidation tactics, but also threw substances at Kellie Jay, the women and the security.

Footage of a very proud person celebrating the silencing of women through violence.

Thanks for making it easy to identify who supports VAWAG

So proud of their appallingly bad behaviour. So oblivious to the appallingly bad optics of stopping non violent just want to speak women from having a voice.

This is a clip of violent men destroying a metal barrier.

I am starting to watch the other footage. These are clearly men destroying the barrier put up to protect women speaking.

This is rather a symbolic piece of footage.

Yeah...But she deserved it!

Someone on twitter said that it’s more like what you see happening to women in Iran, I can’t believe that the policing was so weak and ineffective.

The police presence was not just ineffective, it was intentionally non-existant until it had already reached a critical point.

Look at the pathetic number of police turning up at the outside of the already gathered mob. They had to try to break through to get to the women they suddenly realised they should be protecting. Thank god for KJK's security otherwise it would have been even worse.

Whaeanui · 25/03/2023 10:25

The police deliberately didn’t turn up. This is what they do. 1995, Pakaitore Marae, Whanganui, they didn’t protect peaceful marchers who were also subject to abuse like Posie was, my mum was surrounded by white women shouting and spitting, they did come later to try and evict us though. They just didn’t like the optics of having to break through mostly white women and children linking hands around us for protection.

Just making sure those who are directly responsible for this, rather than vaguely once stood on the same side of the road responsible standard that KJK is held to, know what their part was in yesterday's shit show

"A long campaign to assassinate my character, started by a group of jealous spiteful women in the UK, that I had ambitions besides stopping the mutilation of children and the erasure of women’s rights. A load of lies slurped up by ravenous porn sick men and their transmaidens, but consistently legitimatised by women “on my side”. The lies were finally spewed by politicians in power in Australia and New Zealand, boosted by a corrupt media populated by vile dishonest unskilled cult members. The end result was that I spent most of my day with the protection of police who genuinely believed I was lucky to be alive. The advice was that I should go home. I was never the things that I have been accused of. I don’t even believe they believe it, they just say it because they cannot accept a woman walking her own path and wants other women to find their feet and walk theirs. It may seem like we lost a battle today but I promise we will win this fucking war. The powerful are seeking to silence us, we must continue to speak. They are afraid of us. So much love to the women of New Zealand, we see you. The world is talking about you. ❤️❤️❤️ To the stewards, security and police who made sure my kids get to see me again thank you, thanks to all of you at home who offered messages of support. Kj

If young women who are taking part in the protest in Auckland cannot see how they have silenced a women’s rally and potentially one tomorrow, I despair.

I would be appalled if this was the other way around. I would be horrified if a trans person was targeted in this way, or an event supporting trans people. I would certainly seek to correct misinformation being given about at an event, but through discussion and evidence.

Daily mail needs to report this like it is. Women's rights campaigners being assaulted by trans rights activists. Or unhinged men.

We need our media to stand up for KJK and our women's groups.

Whaeanui · 25/03/2023 09:55

@TinselAngel yes, for the trans widows 💐they must feel alone and unable to speak at all.

Amplify this if you can.

Here we have a male openly proud of the fact that abusing women gives him sexual gratification.

You can see it in the footage of hyped up angry men terrorising a tiny group of women, throwing barriers around, squaring up and screaming at women. They are high on their own testosterone, high on violence, turned on by their own woman hate. They are proud of it.

You can see it in the crowing abusive posts of the man who organised the mob, jeering at women being 'caged'.

Show the world who these men are and what this movement stands for.

Men's domination.

Boiledbeetle · 25/03/2023 09:54

TinselAngel · 25/03/2023 09:51

Trans widows in New Zealand must feel so isolated today, having been very clearly shown where the power in their country lies.

It's sickening Tinsel, absolutely sickening. They must feel completely powerless.

Whaeanui · 25/03/2023 09:53

Remember this is the country that brought us Laurel Hubbard, the born male who stole medals from Samoan women, one of whom had a life of abuse and had to really struggle just to compete. Laurel on the other hand is a multi millionaires child, their father Dick, was a known homophone. He used his power and status during the campaign for gay rights and wrote to politicians to urge them to vote against.

Abccde · 25/03/2023 09:53

Now is the time for the UK government to show how much they value women's rights.

Posie is a British citizen and I fully expect the British consulate in NZ or someone in the UK govt here to comment on what has happened.

Helleofabore · 25/03/2023 09:53

Boiledbeetle · 25/03/2023 09:44

He got sexually aroused by her assault? And people wonder why we don't want men in our spaces?.

When people show the world who they are, believe them.

For those asking about Wellington and the other women carrying it on without her, it’s been made clear they’ll protest loudly if she’s there or not- they also protested Meghan Murphy but that event was held in parliament buildings so was somewhat protected. This was an outdoor event so that’s the safety issue. I know some very seasoned and strong kiwi women who have been to many protests, they’re very scared right now and none want to go to the Wellington event. Peoples lives are being ruined, being doxxed has real life consequences.

Thanks for your perspective.

This is a shocking wake up I think. And it highlights that even with the best intentions that political agendas can become totalitarian and authoritarian. And this will have shone the light on this.

I never agreed with Adern’s edict that people don’t speak the name of terrorists. I don’t agree with Victoria’s decision to ban the swatsika and now the Nazi salute. I have felt it doesn’t achieve what these decisions are intended to achieve.

And to those gloating over her having to cut it short and come home, this is not the win you think it is.

The very fact that women weren't allowed to speak, and that after being assaulted the safest option was to come home, not just for her safety but other women's, well that just proves that women are being silenced.

Stay or come home it's a win win situation for getting across to the masses that women's voices are being silenced.
