Let’s move the general discussion about the New Zealand ‘Let Women Speak’ tour out of the thread set up to centre the women speaking at the Australian and New Zealand tours.

This was the live feed.

https://www.youtube.com/live/eDuy2Kx2HlI?feature=share

The event was over run by violent trans activists. Not only did they use the usual intimidation tactics, but also threw substances at Kellie Jay, the women and the security.

Got it, thanks. She's agreeing with what he's saying, but complaining about his tone.

Essentially. It's still throwing KJK under the bus.

You have no idea about anything about me or my political activism. And though I have never ever claimed to be some great woman's rights activist I could point you to the applications to parliament, various institutions and other orgs I've authored on behalf of the gender critical movement as well as the articles I have written to bring attention to the subject - but that wouldn't be good enough, would it?

So believe what you
want - believe I haven't done that, believe I'm a TRA, believe I hate women, I'm jealous, lazy, whatever because I can't simply be a person who's simply concerned and opposing fascism and it's potential enablement can I?

And sorry, I will never ever shut up when it comes to opposing Nazis and Nazi enablement. I have been opposing the far right for years, online and off, whatever causes it tries to piggyback on to - and am certainly not going to stop now.

I understand this issue is an emotive one but please understand how the scum operates.

turbonerd · 25/03/2023 13:48

Just want to add my support for the women in Australia and New Zealand, being called shit by their politicians and silenced by a crazy angry violent mob.

Not a good look for the left real Feminists when they on the one hand says: The right for any women to organise themselves, and then go: Except you, you are not doing it right.

Fuck off! This is where it has gotten you. Trans-mob confidently asssulting women.

We have the impression that JKR isn't mad about KJK on a personal level, she never said a bad word and retreats the events. Left wing feminists could have done the same.

It's the principle of the thing. JKR has loads of integrity.

twitter.com/jk_rowling/status/1639612603302395905?s=46&t=qXVqBokIu5LK-q-lGB3zGw

She has also retweeted KJK directly.

The pair of them keep their family put of the public square and will have psychopaths after them for life over this issue.

I am still raging at left-wing feminists partaking in exposing a family and getting information out, that lead to an escalation like this, they know how deranged these people are.

JKR would understand that, as TRA went to her home putting her family at risk too for all online.

Who do Auckland pride think they're kidding??

Do these bellends seriously not understand that turning off comments is the kiss of death to what you just wrote?

I will never understand the stupidity of these people.

It's like toddlers who don't want to hear something and put their fingers in their ears and sing loudly.

Isn’t the ‘legitimate point’ referring to KJK courting/ not discouraging the Far Right? So the basis of the cartoon is legitimate but she wishes Bragg would have something to say about the unacceptable violence.

After KJK had left, a woman was hit by a motorcyclist at a crossing, which was part of a motorcyclist group who were supporting KJK.

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/486690/marama-davidson-hit-by-motorcyclist-after-posie-parker-protest

I hope the woman who was knocked over by the is OK.

From the above article

Davidson attended today's rally to support trans and non-binary human rights and was injured by the motorcyclist after Parker left Albert Park under a police escort.A large number of motorcyclists were in the area to support another rally held by Brian Tamaki.

Then from this article
https://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/news/national/posie-parker-protest-brian-tamaki-leads-anti-trans-protest-in-auckland-cbd/

As British activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull sought shelter at Auckland Central Police Station after her Let Women Speak event was derailed by a counter-protest, Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki has begun leading another protest just hundreds of metres away.

Brian arrived with his friends on motorcycles.

There is nothing to say he was there supporting KJK.

He was there however to lead a 'anti trans ' protest (god knows what that actually translates as for this group).

Remember KJK wasnt there to lead an anti trans protest. She was there to try and facilitate women speaking.

I'm confused, now. Did Ruth post that cartoon? Or did Bragg post it, and she objected.

It is a conditional rejection if that is the right phrase. She rejects it on the surface because whatever reason, but she wants everyone to know that she has a ‘legitimate’ reason for holding her views on Kellie Jay. That is what I think she is saying.

I suspect the message is coming across that a particular group of feminists have been noted for their past words and their present words, or lack thereof.

It’s so sad to see what’s going on.

It concerns me we could easily head in same direction.

Women want to speak, violence from men is the result to silence, cartoons do not focus on that. We could easily be in trouble with no voice.

The TRAs are getting more emboldened and more violent so it's likely that they will continue to escalate. And that means relying on our police forces. Makes for a grim outlook.

Whaeanui · 25/03/2023 13:35

Now I’m crying because I can’t get Utrogestan even privately, how do I identify out of needing this?! What a shit weekend to be a woman

I agree. I have given WPUK the benefit of the doubt on and off for quite a long while. Thinking that they were just overtly political, and perhaps misguided, but basically decent.

But for the love of God, posting cartoons like that about a woman who has been attacked is just disgusting.

They've lost the fucking plot.

Agree with your assessment, Datun.

The whole sorry debacle has made me realise I’ll never be pure enough for the Left. Identity politics has poisoned it. The scenes from NZ, behaviour by people who think themselves ‘progressive’, has made me feel I cannot vote for a left wing party. The mob mentality is strong and ugly.

I see that it's being claimed that large numbers of bikers turned up to support KJK, then ran a politician over. There doesn't seem to be any footage and if they did turn up to support her, they did a pretty poor job of it.

I suppose that the Trans Extremist Zealots will now be claiming that KJK has co-opted the Hells Angels? That famously liberal group, known for not allowing female members.

Hells Angels, Christians, Muslims, NAZIs, Jews and most of the earths population agree with KJK about the biological reality of what a woman is.

Looking at the tweets, from prominent women within the GC movement, today I'm starting to wonder if there has been a conspiracy of silence about how destructive a small group of soc fems have tried to be.

It feels like many have not expressed their disapproval before to avoid causing division and distracting attention from the main priority but the events of the last 24 hours have been beyond tolerance and forced them to speak.

I mean, my username is Te Reo Maori, I use it here too, MNHQ have no issue with the language itself. It’s the harassing other posters and mocking it and other peoples families that’s the issue.

Helleofabore · 25/03/2023 13:17

It is generally not considered good ettiquette to write posts in a foreign language without providing a translation on a site based in one country. Particularly a language that may be open to translation errors.

Why should a site with an 'in the spirit' guideline for interaction tolerate a person doing so to insult another poster? And not all posts have been deleted. I think claiming victimhood after the posts we have seen recently is not really going to be credible.
