Just found this SKY News piece on YT about it.
It appears to show Thorpe making her way towards KJK and then being dealt with by security.
I watched the Canberra event on YT but never picked up on this at the time. Did anyone else? What that woman ( KJK ) has to cope with, sheesh!
An elected representative behaving like that - how shameful!
As for our Aussie sisters that took part in the Australian events, well done all of you very brave, very stunning women.
One day, your names will be written in the history books - for being on the right side!

There are pages about this on the now full thread https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/4740148-let-women-speak-australia-nz-tour

Not trying to stop anyone going over it all again, but sadly it will probably bring out all those who came on the thread to blame KJK for that and everything else, including two groups of men having a w^y contest.

As they already have.

But to sum up, there is an agreed procedure for having a chance at the mike, ie just join the queue. If somebody of either sex or any status attempts to break through the security staff employed to stop people storming the stage, with possible violent intent, then security staff do their job.
