First they ignore you ...

It is progress, and shows that they are recognising it as an issue they have to take a position on.

It's it disturbing to think Roderic o Gorman actually represented Ireland at the UN three weeks ago at the Commission on the status of Women.

His tweet yesterday proves how out of touch he is with society in general, women & the gay community (which is shocking as he's a gay man so he should know that lgb do not advocate or are part of the trans ideology).

This tweet has actually made my weekend 😂😂 As a gay man how tone deaf to include the lgb community in his tweet. The lgb community are getting attacked as much as the rest of us by the trans groups. Roderic should know that. Leo definitely will be aware of the lgb community's plight as regards the trans.

😂 It's great to see. He's also getting it in the neck from gay tweeters who don't like the hijacking of LGB issues by the 'TG++++ whatever you're having yourself'. Brilliant to see Sealhouse. I wonder how much is to do with people speaking out more and how much is because Twitter mods don't automatically delete these posts now. Have to say I applaud all those who have written to thier TDs. I'm in his constituency and am ashamed to admit I haven't spoken to him or other local politicians on this issue. We had needed to speak to TDs about a few other issues and I've been afraid that if I say anything to them on this issue than any help would not be forthcoming.
