It's taken a concrete example in the real world, Isla Bryson, to make politicians realise they can't use that tactic now. Well, not unless they want to be seen to be visibly promoting harm to women prisoners.

We're talking about male prisoners in the female estate. It's not that most heterosexual voters care about it while most lesbians are fine with it.

It was only a short while ago that the question of whether violent men should be in women's prisons could be instantly derailed by not answering it and instead impugning the motives of the questioner and implying they were being transphobic.

Obviously he's lying. What he means is that it was only at the weekend that he realised that he was politically exposed by BK. But I'll settle for that, if we get change.
