Lib Dems just showed their true colours

At the Liberal Democrat Conference just now.

A fairly ordinary motion to tidy up quotas on party committees - basically, as it stood women were disadvantaged as a committee could be constituted entirely of men and non-binary men.

Wasn't even allowed to be discussed. The zealots pushed a 'move to next business' vote to silence women.

Raging misogyny. It's really, really not a good look guys.

I wonder if they are even aware of how badly their woman-hating looks to ordinary voters?

Libdems have an outside chance in my local constituency next election against the tories but there is not a chance in hell I’d vote for them ever not even tactically. Not sure I can vote for anyone else either so I’ll be spoiling my vote again.

Same here. God, I hate how impossible all the parties make it to vote for them.

Libdems have an outside chance in my local constituency next election against the tories but there is not a chance in hell I’d vote for them ever not even tactically. Not sure I can vote for anyone else either so I’ll be spoiling my vote again.

Institutional capture. Its starting to unravel and the capturers are getting scared.
