Agree. We regularly point out on these boards that we are not a homogeneous lump with pre-set views, Rosie is simply doing the same there. She isn't throwing KJK under a bus.

And I really wish LRM would get off Twitter and out of the HoC. He is a vile bully.

Lots of TRAs try and accuse all GC women of being far right, anti-abortion Christian fundamentalists.

Unfortunately what KJK said could be used against GC women to support that narrative. Yes I know young girls getting abortions is a different issue but TRAs clutch at straws.

I think it's important for politicians to make it clear when they are both GC AND left wing, pro-choice not not in any way religious fundamentalists.

I don't get this almost purity spiral around kjk. It's almost as if anything short of worship is treated as abuse and bullying.
She has done amazing things but she is not a feminist (in the way many other gc women are). Why are people bullied for drawing a line between them and her?

I don't see why everyone should be in agreement with everything KJK says. I support her views on a few GC issues but do not support her on many others. I don't see it as part of being GC that I should blindly follow, that way idol worship lies and I'm not a big fan.

I watched how LRM bullied and intimidated Miriam Cates during that debate in the House of Commons. His behaviour is disgraceful, and I absolutely believe that he is driven by a deep contempt for women.

The whole thread is definitely worth reading. RD definitely not throwing KJK under the bus:

Just an incredibly stupid and tedious generalisation from a man trying to justify his anger at us pesky women. It's really lazy and very boring!

It’s perfectly understandable for women to object to any intimation they think 12 year olds should not be allowed abortions.

whether that’s exactly what kjk meant I am not qualified to say, but understand people standing up against. LR is paving the way to get mass dismissal of Rosie’s arguments through linking them here, she is within her grounds to highlight that’s not the case.

It looks like she further qualifies the point that Kellie Jay is entitled to her view and clarifying that gender critical women have a variety of other opinions on different matters. I'm not sure it is tantamount to throwing her under the bus.

It might have been more accurate to point out that Lloyd gobshite has misrepresented KJK's view that parents should be included in decision to put girls on the pill as being against women's reproductive rights more generally. But that kind of clarifying is usually misread in bad faith by those scanning for ammunition.
