Most stupid centring of men on national women's day

What's the most stupid centring of men you've seen on national women's day. This particularly annoyed me as it is literally centering men with both the messaging and the framing of the male individual.

I haven't got the guts to tell the person that posted it on social media they're an idiot, so will have to content myself with venting here.

It's particularly depressing because she's a bloody teacher and supposedly an intelligent person.

I'm glad someone started this thread. In the company that I work for- the IWD blog had 5 women being celebrated- 3 with penises and 2 with vulvas (all women-Confused)

I’ve had enough of being told how to woman and who is a woman.

I am fucking raging and one of the reasons I am so bloody angry is because of my hormones at this stage of my menstrual cycle. Here’s some fucking science for you fucking pathetic apologists:

“Women are led by a symphony of oestrogen, testosterone and progesterone in amounts that vary across an average 28-day menstrual cycle.

Whereas men governed primarily by testosterone, released at regular intervals and doses throughout the day.”

DH works for a foreign international company and the top of the top HR woman hosted a Zoom for IWD. The keynote speaker who had a stellar career and broke glass ceilings...... revealed themself to be a TW. Though according to DH a reveal was not necessary.

One of my ex colleagues and LinkedIn contacts (a woman) posted something about IWD being lovely and all, but behind every successful woman stood a supportive grandfather, brother, husband etc and they deserved recognition.

I wanted to comment: "Emma Pattison" but restrained myself.
