Just when you think you've seen it all. Apparently the Department for Education has been contacted for comment:

Drag queen ‘teaches 11-year-olds about anal sex and tells them there are 73 genders’

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/02/27/drag-queen-teaches-11-year-olds-anal-sex-tells-73-genders/

"Sex education has been suspended in Isle of Man schools after a drag queen allegedly told 11-year-olds that there are 73 genders.
The Isle of Man government has launched an independent review of its personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) curriculum after parents raised the alarmm_ about the “graphic, disproportionate, indecent presentation” of sexual acts and different gender identities understood to have been taught in lessons.
Parents of pupils at Queen Elizabeth II High School in Peel, on the Isle of Man, have reported that Year 7 pupils were taught by a drag queenn_ who told them there are 73 genders.
When one “upset” child responded and said “there’s only two”, the drag queen allegedly responded “you’ve upset me” and made the pupil leave the class.
Some 11-year-olds at the school were taught about oral and anal sex, while another group learned about sex change operations and were shown how skin graft taken from a girl’s arm could be used on an artificial penis, according to reports.
“A lot of children are just too traumatised to even talk to their parents," Eliza Cox, vice-chairman of Marown Commissioners, told Energy FM Isle of Man. “As a parent, you don’t know what children are being taught.”
She said that one teacher on the island had told her she had to teach a group of boys and girls in Years 7 and 8 how to masturbate. Another teacher was said to be so uncomfortable with the content of the PSHE curriculum that they told pupils: “Please don’t listen to me” while they taught the lesson."

Thanks. I'm not as articulate as many of you marvellous people on here, but I'll keep reading and learning and will hopefully be able to chip in every now and again without making a complete arse of myself.

Hey you put coherent sentences together! I usually just swear and shout in big letters!

Don’t blame the teachers! Ffs.

When they should be striking, they don't...

Everyone, in any capacity, who participates in this body-mutilation propaganda will have their reputation in tatters and zero credibility for a long time to come.
Being the last man (last them! ) standing is all good, unless everyone is playing The Musical Chairs, and the music just stopped.

Not at all; it's not the first time I've got the wrong end of the stick and I'm sure it won't be the last!

I'm Sure there's a dirty joke to be made of that but I'm to tired to formulate it!

How about “Isle of Person of Personhood Who Wears Trousers And Doesn’t Like Nail Polish Or Makeup” since apparently these days you are a man if this fits your daily clothing style.

I hope the parents make a complaint and that every teacher involved is disciplined. There is absolutely now way that things like this should be happening anywhere, let alone in schools.

I have a feeling that the poor sod teachers did not actually make the decision in this case. Probably some loony SLT type.

Schools should not be wasting classroom time and resources on this sort of bollocks.

I just don't understand how allegedly sensible, intelligent people, who run schools and council departments manage to fall for it, so often.
It either benefits them in some way or they don't feel they can speak out about it.
Drag Queens are everywhere as I think the intention is to normalise the aesthetics of men in dresses and break down the healthy boundaries which keep women and children safe.

birchtreeglow · 27/02/2023 23:24

New to posting here, have been lurking and hopefully, learning.

Just how the fuck did the school think that this is in any way appropriate?!
I had a peek at the school's 'Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy'
"...There are five main elements to our policy:

  1. Ensuring we practice safe recruitment in checking the suitability of staff and volunteers to work with children...."
qe2.sch.im/site/uploads/pages/12/_media/20230227_ad6ec27c/Child_Protection_Policy_November_22.pdf

Massive fail there.

The policy also states "Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. The Queen Elizabeth II High School fully recognises its responsibilities for child protection and safeguarding of students. We have developed this policy in conjunction with guidance from the Isle of Man Safeguarding Children Board. All procedures issued by the Isle of Man DEC and the IOM Safeguarding Children Board as published on their websites will be followed. This policy should be reviewed annually by Governors at their Autumn meeting."

So I searched for the 'Isle of Man Safeguarding Children Board' I found this link to Child Protection on gov.im

www.gov.im/about-the-government/departments/education-sport-and-culture/inclusion-and-safeguarding/child-protection/
which has a related link to 'Protecting Children Board Website', though the link doesn't work for me - the server can't find it.
So I searched again using 'Protecting Children Board Website' and found it:
www.safeguardingboard.im

Looking at their information on what they themselves state constitutes abuse; then surely the school is culpable in the Emotional Abuse, Sexual Abuse and Neglect of children?
www.safeguardingboard.im/safeguarding-children/information-for-professionals/child-abuse-definitions/

It seems to me that schools and other organisations have thrown safeguarding out of the window under the guise of ‘Equality, Diversity and Inclusion’, when they allow this, when they look to Stonewall, Mermaids et al for ‘advice’ and materials, when they seek to distance/create a divide between children and parents in some way.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion – what bunkum and poppycock.

Those organisations seek to take away women’s rights, trample on womanhood, dismantle our boundaries, cause division, sew hate and cause harm to and indoctrinate children, it’s pernicious. I've peaked and I'm really angry.

SinnerBoy · 27/02/2023 23:23

This stuff seems to be some sort of cosmic piss take. They're seeing what they can get away with, conning the poor rubes, who just don't want to be offensive.

The serpent-tongued swine clump in and tramp around, leaving their cloven footprints all over, swearing that really, they're Kosher.

I just don't understand how allegedly sensible, intelligent people, who run schools and council departments manage to fall for it, so often. People who are supposed to understand the intricacies of keeping children safe and teaching them appropriate things.

Sab launched a GoFundMe for the funeral costs for another drag queen who was a convicted child rapist.

Ah yes, his close friend who not only committed 4 x child rapes but was constantly having to be stopped from

Did something get missed off the end of your last sentence?

Maybe you don't like drag, but if you amplify these stories uncritically you are being a useful idiot for deeply unpleasant people who want to destroy LGBTQ's people's lives with the 'won't someone think of the children' line and turning otherwise reasonable people to the idea that all gay rights have gone too far and they need putting back in the closet

Oh, just stop. The one place you’re supposed to ‘just think of the children’ is when you’re teaching and supposedly safeguarding children.

This has nothing to do with LGB or T rights. Stop apologising for these creeps and their nasty agenda.

Don’t you think that outfit is indecent?

I meant his name, but a couple of posters have pointed out that it's ADHD.

And no, obviously, I don't think he should be within a country mile of children, whether he's in his gimp suit, or a three piece suit.

Ah, I think maybe it’s me who is thick!

The world has gone absolutely insane, also there's two genders man and woman you're either one of the other x

ResisterRex · 27/02/2023 22:27

I understood it was the fact that the name mocks children with ADHD. You expect mocking and adult humour if you go to a drag show for adults. But with children it's different.

It's clear that an external person made a child leave a class for stating the facts that adults should know. Do external people acquire teachers' powers and responsibilities when they enter a school? Or just the chosen ones? News to me if so.

Struggling to see the evidence for a charge of homophobia in the Telegraph's reporting.

OP posts:
WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 27/02/2023 22:09

He was clearly doing something like teaching for him to be able to send out the child questioning his genderist "facts".

I think one of the most alarming aspects of this is that they wouldn't consider it teaching but 'affirming' basic 'facts that everybody must surely already know'.

If you state something confidently as a done deal, by throwing it in casually with other obvious things that nobody would ever quibble, that has the combined impact of both strengthening it in the mind of those who have already been captured and also subtly making the others question their own understanding on highly controversial belief-based issues that you present as 'simple facts', if their current understanding (or lack thereof) differs from what you are telling them.

Moreover, an elaborate costume provides an excellent foil to get away with apparent lighthearted comedy banter - which is sometimes actually agenda-driven ridicule and conditioning/gaslighting - that nobody standing there in ordinary clothes, using their ordinary name and ordinary voice, would ever be allowed to get away with.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 27/02/2023 21:57

but I don't see the text saying that the drag queen was doing any of the teaching
