I can confirm. 👉

Bollocks.

Will be reviewing my "ad choices" soon I suspect!

HairyPooter · 23/02/2023 15:40

Are they really selling it in kids sizes? With packer? If so, then that I have a problem with.

(I am not clicking on the link).

Beowulfa · 23/02/2023 15:39

Selling shit to idiots is a business model that has never failed.

iwantmyownicecreamvan · 23/02/2023 15:36

@ArabellaScott
Thanks for the new tongue twisters. I'm going to be saying:

Pugly period pants with a plastic pecker pocket

and

My plastic pecker pocket can be used for petty pilfering

all day now 😂

sanityplease · 23/02/2023 15:36

it's disgusting and terrifying that things have come to this

ArabellaScott · 23/02/2023 15:26

The pocket for your plastic pecker could also be used for petty pilfering in pret a manger.

Put a panini in your pants!

Happylittlechicken · 23/02/2023 15:24

I suppose though, depending on how the pouch is made…. You could carry extra Sanpro in it…..

Helleofabore · 23/02/2023 15:20

I think normalising the need to wear a 'packer' to women and girls is absolutely abhorrent.

it most certainly is.

Igmum · 23/02/2023 15:20

P.S. I pay for Mumsnet Premium (mainly for FWR) and get no adverts. After looking at that I am deeply grateful

ArabellaScott · 23/02/2023 15:19

Athlebad · 23/02/2023 15:13

What's the problem?! Why shouldn't someone who was born a woman and menstruates, but identifies as male and wants to live as that gender, be able to buy a product that accomodates that? Live and let live, it's not causing you any problem, it's just making life a bit more managable and enjoyable for others...

I agree. I really don't care if a company wants to make pugly period pants with a plastic pecker pocket. They are free to do so, and we are free to say they are pugly pants.

Igmum · 23/02/2023 15:19

Oh FFS 🤦‍♀️

trythisforsize · 23/02/2023 15:18

It's such weird wording 'for the days you want to wear a packer'. What clothing company says crap like that? I don't remember any bra's coming out 'for days you want to wear chicken fillets'. They'll be happy you're sharing it though OP - gets them huge publicity and sells more product. In fact - do you work for modibodi perchance?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/02/2023 15:18

Cheeky wipes. They do good period pants and reusables.

Why on earth would anyone do this? Especially during their period, surely it can only make things worse? It seems incredibly mentally unhealthy and possibly also physically unhealthy, particularly if they're also implying they agree with binders or radical surgery on healthy bodies.

Can anyone recommend an alternative period pants company?

sainsbury's own!Much cheaper, too.

TobeLeRone · 23/02/2023 15:14

Tbh I’m not sure I blame clothes companies, it’s a potential market, and if they don’t appease the TRAs they face bullying.

I hope they go bust. I've bought period pants from them before. Never again and the ones I have are going in the bin. They're rubbish anyway, they don't last very long in my experience.

DialSquare · 23/02/2023 15:11

ArabellaScott · 23/02/2023 15:07

Wouldn't you end up getting blood all over the codpiece?

I bet that's a sentence you never thought you'd type. Even in these strange times!

I think the most striking thing about this advert is how a bit of facial hair really doesn't disguise female facial features.

Clymene · 23/02/2023 14:38

Silicon fake penis

Yes. Made in child sizes as well. Envy

MyriadOfTravels · 23/02/2023 15:07

I clicked the link and thought 'oh this is a reusable incontince pants for men'. That's nice for them.

And then realised the size are women size and its supposed to be for women Confused

I am sure I am not the only one who didn't think this product would be for them.

ArabellaScott · 23/02/2023 15:07

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/02/2023 15:03

I can’t image they sell many. Must be awfully confusing have a period and trying to fit your fake Willy in your pants at the same time.

knittingaddict · 23/02/2023 14:58

ZombieKettle · 23/02/2023 14:41

Just to warn you that if you click on the link you'll end up getting adverts for them on Mumsnet!

I can confirm. 👉
