KJK opposing fertility treatment for gay couples

KJK seems to have an ongoing beef with same sex couples having fertility treatment. Why? How is this benefiting women's rights?

Is is definitely not benefiting lesbian rights.

It also appears to be attracting all the homophobes on Twitter.

It's not about being fertile tho, is it?

People who use a surrogate are starting to call it fertility treatment.

Two women wouldn’t have to use a surrogate, unless both women had fertility issues which eg prevented them from ovulating or subsequently gestating a baby.

On the face of it, her statement is entirely factual. Same sex couples can’t conceive unless a third party is involved somewhere in the process. Either via sperm donation or egg donation and surrogacy.

Straight couples with male factor infertility get fertility treatment on the NHS, therefore lesbians should get this too. I can't see how anyone who claims to support women's rights would oppose this.

Yes it is. It is not being able to conceive as a couple.

Lots of us disagree with Big Fertility and think it’s bad for women as a class.

That some women benefit from it personally does not make Big Fertility good for women.
