They even tried to make sure a rape victim's wishes regarding intimate care would take a back seat to all, and any, male caregiver who said they were a lady. They wanted women to be denied the ability to request someone of the same sex; no ifs and no buts. And now their bullsh*t is being exposed and reported on, they are attempting cover for their flat earth, authoritarian and misogynistic stance. They said a man was a woman if they said so, and women were just bigots (and racists!) if they objected to open access to single sex spaces. Even rapists (as they voted down an amendment which would have paused the self id process for sex offender trials). They tried to make sure rapists would also be given open access to incarcerated women. All other women too, including vulnerable women.

The legislators who were, and are, pushing this cr*p are quite the shower.
