Chilling analysis of his methods for reeling children in and encouraging them to divorce themselves from their parents as well as desensitising them to sexual themes.

This must make a helluva lot of mumsnetters groomers...there are countless threads on here with posters advising OPs to go no contact with family members.

To children? No.
To abused and unhappy and cheated on people, largely adult human females? Yes, thousands unfortunately

@suggestionsplease1 " I guess Oprah was seeking the alienation of people from their families when she said this:" Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher" "

Would that be before, or after, she introduced them to Harvey Weinstein?

Do tell???

Oprah-style advice doesn’t seem to working out particularly well for Prince Harry!

It’s interesting how therapy-speak can be twisted and manipulated to make vulnerable people even more vulnerable.
Must be so much harder to recognise an abuser’s intent to isolate you from your friends and family when they are able to cloak it up as though it’s you ‘choosing’ to go ‘no contact’.

Yes. 'I'm speaking to you and only you, I love you, you can trust me, come to me...' And now I'm getting images of the snake in the old film of the Jungle Book. Trust in me... And we all know what the snake wanted to do to Mowgli.

Shock

It's also the cadence. Every. Word. Separated. And. Empha. Sised.

When I watch they's videos I get a horrible sense that I'm being sucked into a vortex.

I think Jeffrey's delivery style is deliberately echoing the hypnotic tone of some sissy porn material. I don't have a comprehensive knowledge of sissy porn, but I was shown a video which was just swirling colourful vortices/ vortexes and a voice-over in that rhythmic, persuasively warm speaking style inviting the viewer in. He keeps eye contact most of the time, he's very intense, his voice is deliberately warm and 'come to me, my darlings.' So it's not just coincidence that you feel sucked into a vortex.

As has been mentioned before, he's basically talking about his own trauma and using other people as unwitting therapists.

Just about sums up exactly how far Marsh has had to delete their videos.

I'm sure some of you might have seen the shumirun nessa hashtag on Twitter and TikTok these past couple of days. The poor woman received an email with her daughters schools details , the times of drop in, pick up etc, and not only that but had her car vandalised right in front of her house just because she had the audacity to post a video similar to the one above describing this abhorrent man's grooming techniques.
She apologised crying and begged please for whoever they were not to come for her kids.

Women, please, you don't know how strong we are together and our voices count. The more people report to Tiktok and Patreon more chances they will do something but we have to complain. I reported him, please do the same.

She deleted the original video but this it had been reposted many times please see this: vm.tiktok.com/ZMYmE143h/

Watch the State Media video FOJN posted a link to below, if you're not familiar with Jeffrey.

TobeLeRone · 13/03/2023 23:16

It’s interesting that Jeff has deleted many videos, but defenders of the cult faith apparently haven’t seen any of them.

If he presented as an ordinary man, no makeup, no sparkles, the allies would have seen the predatory behaviour when the rest of us did. It goes to show how effectively gender stuff breaks down safeguards.

Tanith · 13/03/2023 23:15

"Well I guess you can say many of the major religious figures are groomers...Jesus was quite big on followers leaving their families wasn't he, 'let the little children come to me'...etc etc. I have a feeling the Pharisees would feel similarly about that rhetoric."

You've confused two separate events. Jesus encouraged adult followers to follow him, not children.
The children were being brought by their parents for a blessing and He was criticising the disciples for trying to stop them. He never expected them to leave their parents.
He also said "If anyone causes one of these little ones to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the deepest sea."

FOJN · 13/03/2023 23:12

Here's Jeffrey in his own words. It was only after the criticism which followed this clip that he age restricted his patreon to 18+, before that it was an age free for all.

I guess Oprah was seeking the alienation of people from their families when she said this:" Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher"

Or "FAMILY SHOULD BE THE PLACE WHERE YOU CAN BE YOUR MOST COMPLETE SELF." (Her capitals not mine! )

www.oprahdaily.com/life/relationships-love/a26144333/oprah-what-i-know-for-sure-family/

Clearly more grooming going on there, Oprah. Redefining family away from biological parents, and undermining the centrality of the family unit...yikes!

Of course there are many, many therapists who have used similar words to support people struggling in harmful and abusive family dynamics.

Well yes, if a random man claiming to get the son of God started seeking to alienate and ultimately remove children from their parents/families, I would certainly be passing that info on to my designated safeguarding lead.

What's most interesting here is that I can type that wildly blasphemous sentence without much concern for the repercussions, because it's 2023 and I'm allowed to not believe in God. But I would have to be much more careful if I were blaspheming against the new religion of gender.

ArabellaScott · 13/03/2023 22:48

The video that starts with 'I'm not a danger to children. I'm a danger to parents' maybe illustrates JM's approach to parental scrutiny. Link upthread.

FOJN · 13/03/2023 22:45

Does he not request parents to view his videos first before letting children see?

You're convinced there is nothing wrong with his content and yet you don't know the answer to this question. Your opinions must be formed in ignorance if you are so unfamiliar with his material.

The rest of us are very well acquainted with JM's ongoing creep fest and know that alienating children from their parents is a perennial theme in his videos so no he absolutley doesn't encourage parental scrutiny of his content.

Yes, grooming is common. And yes, religious figures often use it to recruit new members.

Does he not request parents to view his videos first before letting children see?

A lot of the critique seems to boil down to your common, garden variety, homophobia and transphobia...there is simply a lot of 'he gives me the creeps'. Well yeah, the LGBT community has been handling that sentiment for decades, centuries.

You're suggesting if someone is gay or trans they are above reproach, and somehow exempt from comment on their safeguarding practise?

Accusations of homophobia and transphobia are an insult. Gay and trans people are just as capable of acting appropriately and respecting boundaries as anyone else.

His sexuality is irrelevant, as far as I've seen. This is about his communication, especially to young and vulnerable people. His behaviour is encouraging vulnerable people to take risks, lower boundaries, reject their family.

It mirrors or echoes dangerous behaviour that a lot of women recognise as a manipulative, coercive dynamic.

Jeffrey may just be very bad at communications. And not have a good awareness of boundaries.

In the end, I don't know how much his intent matters - it's the effect that it has. And women are going to keep on pointing out red flags when they see them.
