Non-consensual sexual activities

I have a question about non-consensual sexual activities, both those that require physical contact and those that don't.

Why is it generally men who do these things, and not women?

It happens worldwide and across eras, so I can't believe that it is cultural or entirely down to socialisation.

Is it purely biology? If so, why don't women on testosterone exhibit these behaviours? Does their socialisation restrain them? Or do they simply not have the 'urge'?

Why do some men never do them, even though they may be dominators or controllers in other aspects of their lives?

What causes these behaviours?

Women & girls do, do those things. Just not in such a big percentage. I think its a mix of social conditioning and (in younger males) hormones

Proportionally women and girls doing these things is fractional.

I agree it's an interesting question. But While OP comments that it's across cultures and eras I would argue that overall, most human cultures have tended to prioritise men and be patriachal. It would be interesting to see in a culture that was genuinely equal, or matriarchal, what the difference would be.

Women and girls are commodified for men's sexual gratification. Men and boys are brought up believing that they must be "virile" to be a "real man". Porn addles the brain. Men abuse women because they can, there's rarely any repercussions on them.

I think a lot of it is male entitlement and not seeing women as people in the same way as other men.

It definitely isn't confined to men.

Have you ever seen a group of women on a hen night ?

My brother is a singer and is frequently groped , bum pinched. Flashed boobs at

hormones have nothing whatsoever to do with it - it is personality

I think it's a mix of biology and social influences, including personality

No, not just rape. I specifically said both those that require physical contact and those that don't. So upskirting, for example, or flashing.

I think it’s more than rape.

Exhibitionism, voyeurism, making & distributing non-consensual porn... these are typically but not solely male crimes.

Paraphilias seem to be overwhelmingly commoner among males.

You mean rape?

Why don't women rape.

Well its something to do with a lack of a penis.
