Navigating choppy waters NO SHIT NIC

ArcaneWireless · 15/02/2023 11:16

You are right autumncrow. Although the chest infection I had in October has left me similarly afflicted.

Tbh, this is reflective of Nicola’s leadership style.

She’s been enormously overbearing and it’s all been about her. There’s been no opportunity for anyone else to showcase much at all because Nicola wanted it all about Nicola at all time.

It’s not good or inclusive leadership.

100%

A strong government would have far more to choose from.

littlbrowndog · 15/02/2023 11:14

I thought it was cos she was nearly going to start greetin

Lockheart · 15/02/2023 11:14

AutumnCrow · 15/02/2023 11:12

There's something wrong with her breathing. I can hear it.

It's probably just nerves and she's not taking sufficient breath between speaking.

Wheresthebeach · 15/02/2023 11:12

Brazilagogo · 15/02/2023 10:01

Let us hope Starmer is watching and taking notes!

Quite!!!!

DarkDayforMN · 15/02/2023 11:12

Very curious what she will do next.

After sacrificing her reputation, and the peace and safety of countless women, on the altar of genderism - how is she going to be rewarded?

I’ve wondered for a long time what’s in it for politicians like her. Hopefully we’ll find out.

littlbrowndog · 15/02/2023 11:11

might feel to soon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Cripes, nobody knows, do they?

Someone on the SNP making it clear that the GRR Bill was voted through by Greens, Labour and some Cons. He claims she isn't leaving because of the 'trans issue'

I'm meant to be at work, currently stuck to the sofa waiting for the PC.

I'm not sure that isn't a good thing.

Make sure all the guilty get the blame.

Glittertwins · 15/02/2023 11:10

Hadn't seen until DH messaged me. Neither of us are fans.

MarshaBradyo · 15/02/2023 11:10

I love how much women saying no are impacting politics even amongst all the no one cares jibes.

Enough to end long political careers no less.

ArcaneWireless · 15/02/2023 11:10

I suspect we are about to get a creative speech.

We don’t button up the back hen. It would be rare if honesty played a part.

I had to go and look it up, and I pride myself on a pretty wide vocabulary.

Admittedly some of it not really usable in polite society.

I had to look it up too, every days a school day.
Still good word, very apt

littlbrowndog · 15/02/2023 11:09

Here we go

TheNoonBell · 15/02/2023 11:08

Woohoo! Freedom!

Datun · 15/02/2023 10:30

The entire country has seen how you can reduce a generally articulate politician to incoherent jibber jabber within a couple of seconds.

there is no way other politicians will not see the capital to be gained from that. Or the pitfalls to be avoided.

Personally, I find the entire ideology so ridiculous, that to me, the only thing needed is exposure. Because everyone else finds it as ridiculous as I do, but they just don't know about it.

Now they do. Now they so bloody do.

You’ve obviously never heard of Mark Drakeford!

Listened to that with my jaw on the floor.

Does he think we're stupid?

ArabellaScott · 15/02/2023 11:07

BlackForestCake · 15/02/2023 11:07

I don't think it will be a smooth transition, I think civil war is going to break out in the SNP.

Yes. It's going to be messy.

bellinisurge · 15/02/2023 11:07

GRR is not the only reason but it's going to get more sunlight as the media analyse her ousting.
Good riddance.

littlbrowndog · 15/02/2023 11:07

She’s late for her speech

Rainbowshit · 15/02/2023 11:05

Can't believe I'm sharing wings 🙄 but the rumour seems to be that the resignation is mainly due to the police investigation ramping up.
