I wonder if she has been. There was a smattering of calls for resignation last week. And there is a list if failures as long as your arm. In an interview with Kussenberg only last month she said that, unlike Aherne, she had plenty left in her tank.
Also in the last month she has made a fool of herself in interviews about the trans rapist in female prison. All her other failures may have given rise to hostility and disagreement but her handling of the trans issue made her a laughing stock. No politicians can survive that.

Is she trying to argue surreptitiously that people objected to rapists in women's jails because they just didn't love and appreciate Nicola enough? And they let their judgements be clouded by not liking Nicola - otherwise everyone would be cool with the GRR?
