In a spectacular own goal the Guardian has started to ask people for examples of misogyny and the internet, including Helen Joyce, has told them about LOJ twitter.com/guardian/status/1622617742758092800?s=46&t=KAQysdhGE6DrHca9Gli4iQ

Owen Jones misogyny is trending. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I'm very grateful to @Clymene for sharing that clip, so I didn't have to watch the entire thing to parody the best bit! There's only so much of that baizuo I can take in one go without needing the sick bucket.

flyingbuttress43 · 11/02/2023 16:04

Its even funnier if you watch it on mute.

Whenever I see OJ these days I am reminded of that bit in The Twits where Roald Dahl says that people's personalities (good thoughts or ugly thoughts) eventually show in their faces

See I think he's got a portrait in his attic. He's much nastier than he looks.

If it was all about looks, he'd get away with 'vacuous'.

The State Media's opinion of the wee rodent:

A tiny snippet that made me smile, from a writer in the Spectator this week:

"In the late 19th century, William Morris and Owen Jones (the good one) filled the galleries of South Kensington with carpets, ironwork, tiles and fabrics..."

Marvelous 😄

You can watch an extract here @donquixotedelamancha (with music) twitter.com/stueymaco/status/1623111504022192128?s=61&t=v8QH6417qJ_cvJFEwBWfiQ

Classily immediately after his rant of pain, he answers questions from people who have paid him a tenner to have the honour of asking them. Truly LOJ is the grift who keeps on giving.

Thank. The sad music is perfect. There must be something very wrong with someone to pay TYOJ £10 to answer a question.

I liked the Spoiled TRA Zealot With a Pearl Earring pastiche.

The weird thing is that India pops up on that feed, surprisingly not standing up for women who have been marginalised, abused, bullied and vilified by guardian columnists.

Hells bells India, make your mind up, either you are with us or agin us. Stop sitting on the fence, it will only hurt your cervix.

'There is so much discrimination and prejudice against OJ just because he chooses to identify as a petulant child.'

😂 Perfect!

I'm not on Twitter anymore, but I must see if any of his little rage videos are on YouTube because my god, that sounds like it's worth a look. Couldn't happen to a nicer little twerp

Helen Joyce being wonderful again ❤️

I can work out how to see how many views. So can someone please tell me how many views now?

Saisong · 09/02/2023 08:47

I am more than little gobsmacked that people actually pay to hear his opinion. Especially after that whole woe-is-me speil. Shows his utter grift.

One of the twitter comments on the Guardian tweet described him as a "gender addled grievance gerbil", which made me laugh way more than is seemly!

Ha ! I saw that...it had so many likes too.

Didn't realise there was another thread! I did look - apologies all.

Yes, some bright spark has put his reaction video to sad music and a scientifically minded Tweeter has thoughtfully checked a random sample of anti LOJ posters to see whether they really are anti-vaxxer right-wing bots. Turns out they are established accounts with a few thousand followers who look pretty nice. Who would have guessed?
