I believe Willoughby may be on a high after what I have read about last nights effort.

A show i24 (was it from Israel?) had Kate Coleman on with Willoughby. Apparently Willoughby talked over Kate uninterested. And it seems the host thought it appropriate to mention he thought “To discriminate against transgender individuals is no better than being a Nazi”. And supposedly it was just a passing remark.

I believe Willoughby was on usual form after.

Fladdermus · 02/02/2023 14:37

I can't take India Willoughby seriously. Visions of them prancing around the Big Brother bedroom rubbing cream into their naked breasts in front of everyone have put India in the 'absolute tool' box forever.

I think Margarita just pops up to let us reaffirm our admiration of JKR. All those casual slanders we get to refute. It's fab.

2023newyearnewname · 02/02/2023 14:07

@MargaritaPie JKR doesn't bully. Have you seen the death threats from TRA towards JKR.

NancyDrawed · 02/02/2023 14:04

But QT doesn't usually allow guests to speak over each other, which seems to be the tactic used by IW and other TW who dislike the truth being spoken in their presence.

Didn't India 'I'm a woman because my passport says so' Willoughby apologise on twitter after the GMB segment when India couldn't talk over the top of India's opponent and therefore failed to squash the opposition?

If IW does try the usual, it will be obvious to viewers that IW displays somewhat male behaviour when challenged

A question framed as follows would be interesting:

Fiona, pen in hand:

"Now India you appear to be of the belief that not only are transwomen women but in certain instances transgender women can be more women than what we'll call, for the avoidance of confusion, women who were born women?"

India: Oh don't be ridiculous Fiona, anyone with a sense of humour knows that was a jokey, throwaway comment...

Fiona: but what were you implying by your comment - Fiona quotes exact Twitter posting

And then for good measure she could ask India whether they consider themselves a cervix-haver?

But I hope it doesn't turn into the India Willoughby show because that would be an awful insult to the people of Scotland.

I am SO disappointed they didn't get Rhona Hotchkiss on. She would have been brilliant.

BoreOfWhabylon · 02/02/2023 13:34

I'll be very interested to see how Fiona Bruce handles this.

An unfettered India is likely to peak the nation.

Correction lol, I had a Freudian slip

Attention Seeker 1 (male): I'm more of a woman than JKR is.

JKR: Citation needed

Attention Seeker 2: I see JKR has been bullying Attention Seeker 1.

😁

@MargaritaPie

I'm not on Twitter, so have to rely on other people's screenshots and links to know what has gone on.

I'd be really grateful if you could either post screenshots or a link to the thread/s you're referring to.

Mollyollydolly · 02/02/2023 13:23

If you believe in free speech I can't complain about IW being on. However it just shows how crap they are at making bookings. They could have had any one of countless Scottish feminists, or Jo Cherry or a hundred other people who would advocate for women. Ella will be ok, but she's fairly right winged so again it'll be framed as a left/right issue. having said that IW is to the right of Attila the Hun. It's just so frustrating seeing such a superficial line up. I dont think I can bear to watch it, I'll have to follow it on here and twitter. JFC even GBNews parted company with IW!

What's with all the deleted posts on this thread?

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 02/02/2023 13:14

Definitions change all the time

so I’d really need to see a definition of bullying (as well as evidence)

to be honest if that poster told me my eyes were blue id have to check

LizzieSiddal · 02/02/2023 12:50

LizzieSiddal · 02/02/2023 12:50

Oh my goodness. I feel a tiny bit sorry for India. She doesn’t sound coherent on any tv I’ve seen, goodness knows how they’ll come across on WT. Shock

Birdsweepsin · 02/02/2023 12:48

India "more than a woman" Willoughby was the kind of person to leave the tag on the suit jacket sleeve...

India is one of the transpeople JK Rowling has been bullying on Twitter I see.

Imaginary bullying like imaginary cervixes?

jibbe · 02/02/2023 12:41

If you have a Willy you’re a man regardless of what is emotionally going on

Datun · 02/02/2023 12:39

That poster likes to plop provocative comments and then watch while everyone runs around irritatedly refuting them.

Beowulfa · 02/02/2023 12:37

In my workplace, describing someone as a bully is a serious allegation that needs to be backed up by evidence.
