I think ‘God’ in this context is American.

I think that in the US the issue has been hijacked by far right groups, and the country is so divided that the left has lost the capacity to think about it as a women’s rights issue.

I also think America is still more driven by belief in the rights of the individual than belief in the rights of a community - hence their health care system, failure to protect abortion rights etc.

I stopped following god on Facebook a few weeks ago. It used to be funny rational/ atheist stuff, but now it’s just all regurgitated rubbish from Reddit etc in which the “article” rarely adds more than the click bait headline.

TERF more accurately stands for transwomen excluding radical feminist. Trans excluding is inaccurate as we include transmen due to them being women. If you insist on putting a space in the word transwoman then TERF would need to become TWETMIRF or TMITWERF

Also, the "evidence" they provide was a tweet between her and another person where both were being sarcastic!!! the tweeter (sarcastically) agreed that "she should turn her life around" effectively and JK Rowling thanked them for their concern/care. The massive inability to read that and see it as "affection".

Using the words 'appropriate' and 'sexist stereotypes' without a hint of irony demonstrates a staggering lack of self awareness.

Second wave feminists were essentially gender abolitionists so no idea why 'God' thinks rad fems would embrace gender ideology. Presumably it's because 'God' knows fuck all about 2nd wave feminism.

Asserting that feminists are teaming up with right wingers and Christian fundamentalists doesn't make it true: agreement on a single issue does not mean that different groups share the same goals.

Biological reality denies men womanhood, it's got nothing to do with the opinion of feminists.
