It's a big red herring. People assume they are assessing the risk to the female prisoners. They're not. The only person they deem to be potentially at risk is the TW. The assessment is about their comfort and safety.

I suppose my feeling is that she is a career politician with no moral compass.

She wanted to know which way the wind was blowing so she could look progressive and with it, which left her wide open to dodgy activists, with nefarious motives, telling her that giving them whatever they want, would make her look really with it, and progressive.

She stupidly/greedily fell for it, trusted them. I think of it like the stupid Emperor getting taken in by the swindlers - telling him that ‘only clever people can see these fine threads’.

But, of course, they were telling her porkies all along. Dodgy activists with nefarious motives do not represent the Scottish public.

Well they did a risk assessment and found there was no risk TO HIM from being sent to Cornton Vale. That’s a pretty important detail about the much-mentioned “risk assessments” that SPS have been carrying out.

I totally agree that NS knew exactly what she was doing. She has cynically used this in her quest for independence and ruthlessly trashed the human rights of half the population. Her actions are indefensible.

We had a wee demo yesterday regarding a parents meeting which was cancelled by a venue because they were not happy with the subject. The subject was what are children being taught in our schools with regards to sex & gender.

A Muslim woman there said she cannot understand why her voice, and those of other Muslim women, Jewish women, Christian women , and all parents have been ignored and told their views don’t matter when it comes to what their children are being taught.

It’s so stupid. How about having sex segregation as was intended 200 years ago?

Why waste time, effort and paperwork trying to make it true that people can change sex. They can’t. Job done. There’s no need to ‘assess risk’.

They keep bleating about risk assessments. But they risk assesessed this man and found him fit. So how can they hide behind this? It's clearly not fit for purpose.

That clip above, refers to my quickly deleted tweet, where I talk about how NS has been played, she has been orchestrated by activists into becoming out of touch without realising. Sturgeon uses exactly the same tactics on gender critical women as she does on those with unionist beliefs. You couldn't put a fag paper between them.

Also I find it all ridiculous given the endless rumours about her lavender marriage and her efforts against Salmond.
