The comments on Wings seem to reckon Ash Regan will “do a Howe” and that Sturgeon is terrified of this and is lashing out left right and centre.

A deeply unpopular policy pushed hard by a leader who doesn't give a fork what the voters think. A party trying to present as united while cracks spread throughout. A public protesting on the streets. If anything this looks worse, at least Thatcher didn't have the lol shitshow of furries against fascism standing right behind her. Hello Nicola, that's a bad sign. Adults who enjoy pooping in diapers and then walking around in their self soiled daipers are not the champions you think they are.

• has this much vaunted risk assessment that Scott passed ever concluded no to a male entering the women's estate?
• is the male or female risk assessment used?
• will grassroots independent experts on women and trauma be consulted? Or just the SNP sock puppets and 'trauma experts' led by men with a personal political bias in finding against women's interests who created this disaster in the first place?

Who is the main campaigning body on this issue?

Do both the GRA and the GRC need to be repealed in order that women's prisons are for women only?

What is the shortest legal route to stop this travesty?

I feel this "halt" is just temporary to let the heat cool down. Ladies we need to keep pushing and keep talking about this and put more wood on the fire.

prisons really have to be single sex, it’s the only possible way to move forward. No matter what surgery a person has or how they feel or identify, humans cannot change sex. It’s not fair on the inmates or the officers to subject women to mixed sex prisons.

According to the latest Scottish Prison Service statistics, there were 11 trans women, four trans men and three non-binary/gender fluid prisoners between July and September 2022. There were 7,092 male prisoners and 280 female inmates.

…..why do they need a review? It’s seems quite straightforward. If you have/had a penis and a history of violence towards women, you can’t be sent to a woman’s prison.

So they won't unthinkingly shove men in with women, they'll only do it after they've had a good think?

I'm sorry it would be much more efficient to continue segregating by sex, as has historically been the expectation. Save a lot of time and effort if you just put men in men's prisons!

These are the ones who have been 'risk assessed' as fine to pop in the female estate. Wtaf are the ones still in the male estate like?
