Jenny Jones of the Green party has tweeted:

"In 2015 I signed a letter calling for trans women to be housed in the female estate. But that does not include male sexual predators who falsely self ID to insert themselves into a space with vulnerable women."

The comments are predictable, all on the lines of 'but with SELF ID how do you know which ones are false?'

Absolutely pathetic, I wish Magdalen Burns were here to prick these stupid self-serving, reality-denying egos.

For God sake. I wouldn't mind, but it's so not fucking complicated.

You're going to have to come up with a definition of trans, which is not falsifiable, before you can decide whether or not someone really is.

And good luck with that.

How thick do you have to be to sign an open letter on a contentious topic like putting men in women's prisons (7 years ago), and not have even got a position in 2023 on how you tell which ones are TrueTrans and which are chancers?

This is glorious.

And I'm so glad that women being locked in with rapists IS an issue that the public get exercised about. I was very pissed off that sports seemed to be the only bit that worked.

Maybe people flat didn't believe it would happen till they saw a live example?

Their entire argument now relies on:

'true' trans - therefore they now will have to completely pivot from the 'if they say they are trans, they are trans'.

Which puts an end to any use of 'believe people are who they say they are'.

OR that 'of course they never supported a RAPIST being put into a female prison or in the general prison population' - without knowing the prison system and just who and when people can be segregated AND without acknowledging that transitioned males STILL RAPE WOMEN!!!
