India has stated this on Twitter.

Doesn't it tell us a lot about how genderism rests on social stereotypes? How is India 'more of a woman' than someone born female?

The decapitate terf hate speech on another thread too.

What can we do?

It’s awful. Women are being pushed around by aggressive men.

What can we do? Ducks know, but right now I'm going for

"Enough. If you excuse, pretend you didn't know, didn't see, say it was a joke about signs threatening violence. If you agree with shutting down women and taking away our rights and spaces and sports in favour of men. If you think men should be in women's prisons and rape crisis centres and all the rest of the shit then you are a misogynistic woman hating Arsehole and I don't even want to hear another word out of your mouth. No debate. Now fuck off"

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 23/01/2023 19:24

Interestingly, my autocorrect doesn't recognise transwoman as a word, and suggests transplant as the alternative...

Can a cow, pig or sheep identify (or be vicariously identified) as a transplant, so that apparent omnivores can still eat them, but actually be fully accepted and celebrated as vegans?

NeighbourhoodWatchPotholeDivision · 23/01/2023 18:36

Just in case no-one could see, I've zoomed in.

Me either. My line in the sand. No more of this shit.

I started out as a be kind person and they soon ground that out of me with the threats of violence for raising safeguarding concerns

Fuck them. Give them an inch and they’ve taken 10 miles

GailBlancheViola · 23/01/2023 18:30

Boiledbeetle · 23/01/2023 17:26

totally agree especially this bit

There are limits as to how far the pretense that some people would prefer in order to protect the feelings of TW can be taken for their benefit without entering into misogyny and oppression of women. The line was very much left far behind this weekend. I will not collude in this kind of thing any longer. Nor co operate with demands for respect and kindness from a group of males that emphatically do not reciprocate any kindness or respect to women, but in some cases bear signs advocating their rape and murder.

I'm done with this shit

India posts a lot of odd things. If you look here, India uses the word "transwomen". So why the abuse of Esther?

And how come India think Esther owes her career to "woke" and positive discrimination? Why was India on Loose Women, eh?

Yes. Considering that posters have in the past used that type of comment to discuss the colour of a black woman's skin I am surprised by the comment here.

I am not in the least surprised, it's par for the course.

IW sounds a bit too:

'all women are equal but some are more equal than others"

Or rather all women are equal apart from the male women, they are superior women.

Yes, I guessed you made excuses for it.

Trans is a prefix. Black is an adjective. HTH.

Oh my ears aren’t that well attuned to accents.
I thought both were Aussies.
Sorry about that.

Here's the delightful transwoman in all THEIR feminine glory.

Vebrithien · 23/01/2023 17:51

Thank you, those who patiently explained the difference between using trans woman and transwoman. It makes so much more sense now.

Interestingly, my autocorrect doesn't recognise transwoman as a word, and suggests transplant as the alternative...

The Australian one was a male in a store that axed people. The large male yelling 'it's ma'am' is from the USA

errr..... the one with an axe that axed two people?

No!
A different one to that.
The Axe attack was horrendous.

Different person, still massively aggressive and angry.

See, I read that as her putting the words black and woman together not to be racist, but to make a point.
As in people put trans and woman together.
Saying that it's disgusting to put the words black and woman together (which it is)
And as in why can people see that but not when people do it to trans women?

yes. Using women from a particular demographic to leverage India's self and others into the same comparator when they are male. And black women have been long criticised for their features etc historically.

Nothing racist there at all.... really???

but not when people do it to trans women?

Because they are MALE they are using language to try to convince people they are just like other women. It is dishonest.

Like the Aussie person yelling in a shop -
“ It’s Ma’am!” While proceeding to kick and punch the displays in the shop. ( Widespread on social media and news)

NeighbourhoodWatchPotholeDivision · 23/01/2023 16:33

So any comment on IW's antisemitism? Calling a black woman a "blackwoman" and saying she owed her career to positive discrimination?

What did you think when Jane Fae, a prominent transwoman who has been given a media platform, mocked a young mixed race woman for her skin colour, and accused her of having "bad self-tan"?

Yes...imagine accusing someone with a 'bad self-tan'.... on Mumsnet! Seems rather incongruous to me that some posters in the past have done so.

I remember it well.

I've never seen this before and not really seen India live before but I'm sorry - every inch of my brain was saying "that person is male". Their walk, their height, their VOICE!!! Their anger, their mannerisms - reality is reality.

Nope, it's still there
