Unfortunately, he doesn’t have the mental clarity to see how the tide is turning and I imagine will become increasingly angry and vindictive

Its not that he doesn't understand this

It's that he will always see men's desires, no matter how trivial, as more important than women's safety.

It takes a LOT of mental gymnastics to avoid saying this out loud. But he's committed to the task.

LOJ's problem would appear to be that while people can explain reality to him, they can't understand it for him.

I actually can't believe OJ is so stupid that he doesn't understand the argument. I mean, I genuinely can't believe it. Even my dog has a better understanding than he does. It's not hard, is it? How the fuck does someone this thick even pass their GCSEs let alone get into one of the world's most prestigious universities?

I'm pretty sure that Owen Jones is not mentally well. The slow motion, public collapse of his career must be as painful for him as it is cringeworthily funny for me.

I think it's safe to say that it didn't go down well (and that's from people OJ hasn't blocked which is about 90% of women who have talked about women's rights on Twitter)

I've just been sent this by a "fellow traveller." I don't do Twitter myself but my partner in grime appended the following to the grab:

Non-sequitur - Gosh seeing Freddie coming into the video - that was definitely a female socialised entrance, even down to the ingratiating little smile. Despite having no gender identity, I'm not as feminine as that.

To be fair to the boy Jones I did in my cups once enquire of him whether or not he was as big a James Bl-....er...Jeremy Hunt in real life as he is on TV and radio and I as yet remain unblocked on his Faceberk.

It's quite hard to follow on twitter because obv I'm blocked, but I get the impression he's reaching the end of the road. Wrong side of history too many times. He's lost all credibility, he's just become a joke.

It does, for a certain group of men. Their worldview is so completely seen as the only correct one and their value rankings as objective, that misogyny does not register as such in their minds. They see themselves as fair and objective, because they do not examine their own biases in this context.

I always find the gaslighting element to be the most annoying thing about OJ, Bragg etc. If they just admitted they hated women it wouldn't be quite so bad. It's the relentless attacks on women individually and collectively, the blocking of feminists, the sneering dismissal of women's concerns, combined with the absolute denial that they are misogynists that drive me over the edge (as they are probably intended to). To my mind, if it looks like a misogynist and quacks like a misogynist it probably is a misogynist.

One of the most ludicrous things he's ever heard? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that he's never listened to any of his own recordings.
